To answer him. Yes you open up.“...What do you do then? Do you open up and risk it being six or seven or stay compact?”

Who’s got bingo??
“It’s been tough over last run of games, four out of the top six, three out of the top three best in the country and Chelsea bang in form
World class players, sometimes people don’t realise the competition we are up against - these are world-class players Giroud and Jorginho coming off the bench.”
I didn’t realise Chelsea had good players, Chris. You could easily attribute that quote to Warnock. It is fucking depressing.
So you don’t play Burke because we were expecting to go behind and Chelsea to sit deep? And when do you not need pace? Has he lost the plot??On Burke not being involved...
“It’s tactical. Oli Mac would have played today, unfortunate that he had tonsillitis and was kept away for four days.
There’s not much grass in behind when Chelsea go 2-1 up, they sit a little bit deeper and pace is not needed. Something else is needed and in my opinion Oli has done well against Liverpool and Man City.
The service the boys at the top are getting is not great.”
Start Burke then, not brewsterOn Burke not being involved...

Christ that’s a depressing watch. Sounds as though nothings changing![]()
Got his excuses in early for the next match with regards to players being away on international duty.
If only there was something you could do about that Chris, being the manager and all...The service the boys at the top are getting is not great.”
Problem is we’re smacking it skyward to Didsy and BrewsterI still don't think it's too late. I still think we can do this and stay up.
But if CW thinks that McBurnie is the center-forward that's going to lead us to safety, we might just as well accept that we'll be in the Championship next season and be done with it. I was genuinely happy tonight when I saw the team. At least 'we'd have to keep it on the deck and play football'. We have a chance that way.
McBurnie is slow of thought, limited in any kind of ability, has a terrible touch, and is a terrible finisher at this level. We know how good CWAK are but if we are pinning our hopes on this clown, then CW is taking a huge step back IMO.

I'm not going to advocate any of the silliness imho tonight about Wilder's future but it's absolutely clear that he has a more negative approach and attitude this season. If people look on YouTube etc from last season regarding Wilders interviews about how we "don't fear anybody" and "we always will have a go at teams" etc. After a 9th place finish in which that view was totally vindicated, what has changed in Chris' outlook when he now says "we can't go toe to toe with the likes of Man City etc".? I'm guessing he's realised his signings are not good enough after all, or there's problems behind the scenes.
True. I don't want to see that either. I want us to get back to playing football like last season. But even when we do hoof it, Didzy is still a better target than McBurnie.Problem is we’re smacking it skyward to Didsy and Brewster![]()
No I think he should be allowed the full season, however it turns out. But WHERE has this negative approach come from, after last season's heroics..?I'm not going to advocate any of the silliness imho tonight about Wilder's future but it's absolutely clear that he has a more negative approach and attitude this season.
It's evident in his comments and our performances.
Loving the nonsense on here tonight.
First goal left Ramsdale unsighted but I think he moves too soon for things and doesn't react, more expects.
Second goal Lowe loses his marker, individual error.
Fourth goal was just a stupid error again but luckily landed at their players feet one on one.
Just generally poor individual errors. Still think we'll come good.
