Let him Foxtrot Oscar, I wanted him to stay but he can bollox now ...It will be interesting to see how his career goes when he leaves ....
Be interesting to see who wants him .....
Not been much interest up to now ..I'd stick the fucker in with kids until Jan or May

Perhaps this was part of the reason why he got himself booked early on.
He can leave now for me tbh. He's got no desire to stay. Let him rot in the reserves cunt face or not

Will probably go to Villa, Newcastle, Leeds, Palace, West Ham, or Fulham on 60k a week and a fat signing on fee as an English home grown player on a free transfer.

He will feel like he's jumping off a sinking ship

Well that's scuppered your PL move Lunny :)

Wilder should now refrain from selecting him and find a new fit in midfield

No! Wilder decides whether the team is better with him in it or not .
He will know better what is happening and what commitment L has.
For all we know he may have agreed a new contract, but with a few small details to be finalised

Lundstrop has had long enough to sort out his new terms. If what the club are offering isn't acceptable then its deffo time to go. The grass isn't always greener on the t'other side.

The wages might be a bit greener!

Well good luck to him, likely to be the biggest contract of his career so if he can get another £5/10k p/w elsewhere, or a longer deal, can’t fault him really.

Shows we must have someone lined up.

I think if there were only small details to be finalised it would have been a bit more up beat than it is

Problem for the club is, why should anyone want to pay money in January for a player they could get for nowt at the end of the season ?

Problem for Lundstram is, if nobody wants to pay him a bigger wage he may have to settle for a lower one than he's on now .......

Agents eh, who'd have em........

If it’s a club fighting the drop, or fighting for promotion, then of course there is a very clear reason to buy in January rather than the summer. Though a factor for us might be if the former why would we want to give a team, who we may be fighting with to stay up, a player they want?

It won’t be just £5 or £10K a week extra though.

I can imagine United offering him £20K a week tops
.....our arguement is that he’s seen as a back up player...be it very important back up...so he’ll see plenty of game time...but mainly sub.
His whole time at BL he’s never been that impressive when starting.....his best ever form was coming on as sub for about 3 months last season.
Those performances put him in the shop window...he’s proven that he has the potential to be a decent combative PL player.

His arguement is he’s not a youngster anymore and (like Duffy) won’t have made loads of money from the game.
We’ve bought Berge for big money so he’s always going to have priority.

His agent will be very confident there will be interest from bottom half teams in the PL.

I reckon he can easily command £50K a week on 4 year contract...so he’s more than doubling the offer we made him.
Sounds a lot of money doesn‘t it but the whole deal is only £10 million.....making him a very cheap outlay for a PL club.

My view is that the jury is still out on Lunny...I suspect he’ll never be consistent PL standard.
Lets not forget he was very underwhelming even at Championship level.
My prediction is he’ll join a West Ham or Villa on £50 to £60K a week and he’ll hardly start any matches.
However even if he never plays he’ll have pocketed over £10 mill less tax.....so arguably he’s had a very successful career.

If you’re being fair you can understand why he would leave....he wants to financially set himself up for life.

Look at him there, stroppily adding a limp arm to the celebratory huddle around Berge, who he apparently despises [citation needed]. The bastard.

Fuck me you're right. And look, it's his bloody left hand, and he's right handed. Absolute wanker, waint even pat Sander with his dominant hand. I don't want anyone with an attitude like that at my club. And I've heard he kicks kittens just for't laugh, and last year he only put a penny in the charity pot, made out it was a quid, and still took a poppy. C**t.

So if lunny has tit on wi berge as some on here attest to...this insinuates wilder knows and still picks him..I find that hard to believe misen

He's shown occasional flashes this year, but truth be told be hasnt been the same player for us post Xmas. If he doesnt value being here and part of our unit over the money offered then let him get splinters on the arse somewhere else, as much as letting him go a free will be a shitter.

I do feel like he owes us something. Hed never have touched the premier league without us, and now its time to show some commitment, hes off for the cash. I realise im probably being unfair.
