Agree with this.Wilder must stay regardless of what happens
But something is annoying and irritating him
You can see it in interviews, comments and in his face, something isn't right with him.
We need the happy go lucky, infectious, enthusiastic Wilder back because this transfers through to the player ranks
Looking at his mannerisms at the moment and it's no wonder our style of play has changed
because he has played hardly any football this season and not up to speedSo why is he not match fit?
Well said mateCan't see why Blade56 gets abuse for this. Poor start to the season (and poor end to last season) and just failed to beat one of our fellow relegation rivals, seems a reasonable thing to debate. The vast majority are behind Chris (myself included). This site is for debate surely, not for abuse of a poster just because you disagree with what they write.
Maybe the following seasons but not our first.Let’s not go over board. I remember a fair amount of toy hoying
I can’t disagree with your list, but come on if we do go down. Who else would you have to get us back up. We have become a victim of our own success from last season. The questions got to be asked so I’ll grasp the nettle.
Backed by the board, no complaints there
£45 on 2 strikers
Squad lacks athleticism
Squad lacks creative / technical players
Refuses to explore foreign market
Still tries to polish turds
Seems to lack Plan B other than bring Billy on
We just struggled against one of the poorest teams to grace the PL for a while. New soft penalties and VAR saved us from defeat.
I can’t forget where we were and what he’s done for us but the question has to be asked. Do we support CW at all costs or Sheffield United’s future?
Cant see us buying a win anytime soon.

It is a shame you cant debate without getting personal. What qualificatons do you have then? By the look of it not much. You seem completely incapable of any rational debate instead blindly following a mantra used more recently in North Korea, China and of course Nazi Germany.Lemmingwe’ve had the best 4 years in living memory under CWAK in my life time and reached the premier league on a spend of £6m. We shouldn’t even be here! We finish 9th last season because of COVID-19 instead of top 6, and 5 games into this season because we’ve only drawn against Fulham the cretins and undercover
are out in full force. Uneducated so called fans like you make me spew. Were you at Bury under Badkins? Were you at Yeovil? Were you f#ck, cos if you had of been, you wouldn’t be polluting this forum with your bile. To put things into perspective, in the same time, the pigs have blown £59m to finish below mid table in the 2nd division, and currently sit rock bottom on minus 12.

And no we had a better time under John Harris in my view. At least we could score goals. Wilder is good, now we'll see how good he is. He once went 10/11 defeats in a row with Halifax. Trouble is they weren't in the Premier League at the time and all the financial stuff that goes with it.
Oh it does help if you get your facts right. Wednesday are now on -4 I believe.

TheYou are completely incapable of a meaningful debate aren't you?
I am not asking for Wilders resignation, but there is no doubt he's right in trouble at the moment and last year we were lucky. We had a good defence fairly crap attack and won lots of games by a singe goal. We also, until lockdown lost most games by a single goal.
I would suggest lockdown is/was a major part of the issue.
I look forward to seeing a more constructive debate from you, but I might be waiting some time.
Thedoth protest too much, me thinks. You gave yourself away when you called the day after Tuesday what you did. I don’t know one blade who calls them by that. Then -4. You’ve been flushed
Don’t wait too long cos your going on block.

How were we lucky last year? I remember being more unlucky than lucky in the main.
Well few injuries and a good defence outshone a poor attack, therefore giving rise to the Boro and later Arsenal syndrone of '1-0'.
Now take the 1 goal winning margins and make them draws and see where we would most likely be. Probably about 14th I'd suspect. So statsticaly last season was far better than could have been predicted.
Now we have lost JOC and LM, McB plays like a £2m player not a £20m one and we are under performing. Too few goals and sadly too many daft ones conceded.
Agree VAR robbed us of some reasonable goals.
I've paid more for a round to be fair....£45 is a lot for two strikers though. Especially on today's performance!
Your building your argument on a weak premise. Why would we make our 1 goal margin wins draws? Why not make our draws 1 goal wins? Our 1 goal losses draws? Its not luck. Tight yes. Built on a solid defence definitely. Fine margins. But margins we were the side which we generally deserved to be. Mostly due to a system and spirit CW and AK give the team ( because we dont nearly have the 9th best team).
Stats are interesting. We have less points and goals than we should this season, statistically. We still have one of the leagues best defences, statistically. The majority of our injuries arent from our training (soft tissue), statistically.
Youre in danger of dismissing last year as luck due to stats. But then say hes bang in trouble this year, ignoring the stats.
Were not playing well and he has made some mistakes this year (the pre match surrender at Arsenal being the worst) but his position isnt even close to being in trouble and as I say, statistically we are not as bleak as the table.
We laughed at Norwich when they didn’t spend to strengthen an obviously weak defence.
How have so many Blades lost all perspective and become self-entitled PL-fan clones? If we don't win a single game all season and get relegated with record low points, we will still start next season in a far better position than when he took over and will have had a far, far better journey since he took over than anyone could have imagined. We were an established League 1 side and some of us were starting to think we might never get out!He is a football manager not an unelected leader in a corrupt state or a political sinecure. In all walks of life continued failure means an objective review of the individual’s ability to perform their task.
In the football world a striker that doesn’t score, a goalkeeper who keeps making blunders or a manager who can’t win matches exposing the team to relegation fall into that category.
I don’t want to sack wilder now but there could be a point between now and Christmas when my opinion changes and that’s normal and healthy. I’m sure in his own heart wilder gets this too and knows he’s not beyond reproach with the pressure building. I’m sure the last thing he’d expect is to be guaranteed this job if relegated.
Also do people really think he’d have the stomach for it? To me the pressure on him is immense. Compare his interviews from this season to last. Like the players he lacks confidence and is struggling to cope.

We arrived in the PL as the expected whipping boys, everyone looking down their noses at us. He single handedly won respect for our club across the globe. He pushed through during the ownership issues, stuck by us and deals with limited funds and a low wage budget. But some are questioning him after a string of defeats in the toughest division in the world. You're giving him till Christmas??? That's healthy???
When we got promoted, who actually thought we wouldn't have a string of defeats like we've had? Second season means we've made it and can expect to sweep aside newly pomoted sides?
I understand questioning decisions, tactics, player selection, etc. They're the conversations fans have. But if Wilder hasn't earned a ten year contract, I don't know what you have to do.
Couldn't agree more. If Wilder hasn't earned the right to decide when he leaves, then no one ever will. How have so many Blades lost all perspective and become self-entitled PL-fan clones?
