Very poor from Berge and Basham for their goal, and that miss from McBurnie is incredible. To not even connect with his head if unforgivable. Great penalty from Sharp, someone who doesn't always get it right from the spot!

Really? The goalkeeper stands still then he saves it, not a fan of straight down the middle myself.

Also just to say the Wilder, Fulham, Radio Sheffield, on you tube, pitch side interview is a must watch. Excellent, Wilder, relaxed, candid and honest. Compare with a couple of other interviews where he seems tentative and not too relaxed.

How often does a goalkeeper stand still for a penalty though?

I think part of him is relieved that we got something from the game and that we started the game rather well.

True, I was looking at the interview from the view, he seems out of kilter recently.
That interview showed me he is still on top of things and knows exactly where "we" are going, thus restoring my faith, fully, in his abilities.
Yes, was wondering whether he had gone as far as he could at BDTBL.

I think he really misses the fans too as he has mentioned it a few times this week. He didn't seem too fussed after lockdown but now he knows we could do with the fans being there to give the players a lift in confidence.

Only just got round to seeing this. Interesting comments from him on Norwood – essentially said he didn’t come back hitting the heights of last season which is why he has been left out, as ordinarily there would be no reason to leave him out. Praised his first half performance, said the midfield lost control of the game second half.

Indeed. The worst was probably the one that sounded as though he was phoning in from a bus home – Praise or Grumble levels of sound quality – and who garbled forth something like “how are you going to prepare for the Liverpool game?”

Yeah, Chris is very blunt with his answers to those journalists. He tends to keep the press on side rather well but as we saw with Mike McCarthy he does not suffer fools gladly.
