That first save was real quality. Not just the strength of his hands but also where he directed the ball. Made a few today and looked like a top keeper. Kicking was a but poorer today but he'll only improve as a keeper.
 
As an ex goalkeeper, i thought Ramsdale had a good game.

However, the 6 yard box and even maybe up to the line across the PK spot has to be the goalkeepers. He should have gone and claimed the cross that resulted in the winner.

And even then he allowed the ball across his body and into the far side of the goal.

I coach my gk’s to be aggressive on crosses into the box and this one was not handled well and resulted in a header across the six yard box.

I had a few concerns in the first 2 games, but was really impressed with him today

Thought the same but didnt want to be too critical.

I think we’re also being targeted at the LWB-LCB position. All 4 goals this season have been coceded in that area, it cant be a coincidence? Noticed this towards the back end of last season and it looks like its becoming a regular pattern. Maybe time to drop Enda.
 
He did well. He's a quality young keeper and hopefully will be our number 1 for many years.

Excellent keeper who can get better with us.

I also remember a certain keeper (who some seem to think has become almost God like in status) dropping a bollock the last time we played v Leeds at the Lane. He was given plenty of support by the fans in the immediate aftermath. God help Ramsdale if he had done that for us today. Some 'fans' would have wanted him lynched.
 
Imagine that you hired a Ferrari for the weekend from one of those high end rental companies, you love it so decide to rent it again for the next weekend, it's just what you want, what you'd love to own but you know that it's way out of your price range, but you feel the need for a sports car, so you buy yourself a Mazda MX-5 instead, it's still a sports car and it's cost you a lot less that the Ferrari, but it's just not a Ferrari.
 
Fucking long winded way of saying Henderson was better that Tynemouth 😂! Maybe he was but he was still at fault for a few goals after lockdown . We were spoilt having Henderson but Ramsdale is still a very good keeper who will grow with us and get better , AND HES OURS !

Thought he had a good game.needs to work on his distribution of the ball though.think fans are too critical of him though .personnally think hes a capable keeper .

He'll be more assured once the defence are giving him more protection

Never said he didn't do well for us, he was awesome, you'd be a total cretin to have any other opinion. It was 100% to further his career with manure, nothing else. He stated himself he wanted to be manures no1, Not our no1..
He got what he needed, we did. Couldn't give a flying fuck about him now. Wouldn't bother me if he broke his neck doing one of his silly dives.
Ramsdale has my support.. Not someone whose fucked off and had zero interest in staying.
