That’s the much vaunted system that we adopt....the thing is, is that everyone’s now used to it.

I was encouraged by some of the interplay in the mid and final third though, definitely a step up on the first 2 games this season.

Does Osborn have the quality of Jack Harrison, of course not, he cost a lot less money and is a lot less athletic. Similar to the Villa game he and Fleck are up against the quality of Grealish in the same position (LCM). That is why we don't create and score more. All 11 of our players need to be bang at it as we are man for man completely outgunned in skill and athleticism in most areas...

We created more clear chances today than Leeds did. They relied on world class saves from their keeper and a couple of bad misses from us. For all the talk of our system being found out, and us being so uncreative we should've won the game.

I thought Leeds wide players were excellent today, the young guy who was about 20 [Povema?] who came on looked to have great potential. Plus when they got it in wide areas they had lots of space, often 1 on 1, but when we had it in wide areas [ok on the right] it was crowded.

Although it was a tight game I was impressed by Leeds, they reminded me of us last season. Ultimately a quality cross and another headed goal against us cost us.

Whoever plays up front good service pays dividends.

I just dont agree about the creation. Our system makes up for individual frailty in many areas. And we get into lots of areas to create, which is the main struggle of lots of teams.

Once there, our midfielders and backs are perfectly capable to putting a dangerous ball in. They just arent at the minute. Im not asking Osborn or Fleck to dominate Grealish, or even dominate a midfield.

And like i say, our interplay was much, much better around the box. We looked genuinely threating at times, im quite encouraged. Just wish our next run of games wasnt what it is.

Before Robinson missed from a yard out McBurnie should have nailed the ball home- he looked like he closed his eyes. Burke already looks better than McBurnie. In fact Burke looked decent.

When that corner came across before they scored and McBurnie lunged for it and contrived to get 3 inches shorter.

They were both being impeded by Leeds defenders on that chance as well, shame Robinson couldn't get anywhere near Bamford for the goal. Been far too weak at centre back this season.
