Rhian coming to us on a loan to buy, 5m up front, 20m to be paid at end of season with a buy back clause of 34m. Balogun coming in on a loan also.
My source? This thread. I take bits and pieces I like the sound of and reword them as I please. I feel like I'm not the only one for some odd reason...

If you’ve got a twitter account I’m following it.

Wheyyyy I got my hopefully suggestion included. Does this class me as Tier 1?

If all the lad cares about is playing, he will want to come to us. A loan suits Liverpool just as well as it suits us. Unless he turns out to be crap.

A loan does not suit us at all dont want another Loan sick and tired of loans in Key areas

I think a loan is perfect for these times. Gets us a good player without the risk of spending during a pandemic. Sure, it defers the problem for another year, but it's not like no strikers will be available next Summer.

Not exactly stopped Leeds has it a team that has just come up from the championship signing a Spanish international defender for 20m 30m striker yet we are scraping the barrel at the minute when it is clear what we need.

If that happens that is fair enough as long as we are not ripped off.
I’m not ITK by any means, I think it will be a loan to buy for roughly £25 Mill next summer, then Liverpool have the option to buy back for a set fee later in the contract. That’s why I think it’s taking so long, Loan fee to sort, fee to sort next summer and also the buy back fee plus when they can activate it. Heavy work

All sounds a bit Ridsdale to me.

2 loanees in key areas while Wilder has been here and it's the same area (Blackman and Henderson). Unless I'm forgetting someone?

I hear we're signing a promising young lad by the name of Fred West

I can't see the EPL champions, current world champions and 2019 Champions league winners being desperate for £20m

Yea id be surprised mate. I know we Liverpool fans have the piss taken out of us and called "Net spend fc" but it is banded about for a reason. We sell to buy...yes we've broken records but they are offset by outgoings. Its just the way the clubs run, its self sufficient.

You also have to remember thay we have renewed the contracts of all the front 4 and back 5 in the last year to bumper long term deals all with competition bonuses. The winnings from the champions league were gone when we won it. We have large bonuses when it comes to winning trophies and although the new Nike deal is lucrative it isnt likely to make a difference until next season.

As for a loan...unless the buy option is almost guarenteed i cant see us going for it.

Personally id rather keep him as an option but in reality he isnt going to get game time. Salah,Mane,Firmino, Minamino and now Jota would all be preferred to him up front so he simply isnt going to get the gametime. Hes a really good player he just doesnt suit how we play which is just unfortunate.

Edit.

If he joins you then i can see him getting 15-20 league goals non pens this season.

I reckon we could coach that out of him! He needs to stop all that shooting from outside the box for a start. The 18 yard box is there for a reason. When you reach it you're supposed to pass it to someone else, not go having a pop yourself. It doesn't matter if you pass it sideways, but preferably, pass it backwards, and start the attack again. We can teach him that. I saw a lot of Liverpool's games last season, including the ones against us. In my opinion your team are in too much of a rush to play football. You'll never win owt playing like that! ;)
