He was still in full control IMO.
You do tend to be horizontal when you perform a sliding or siding-type tackle do you not?
As I've said before, we can debate it all day long and have differing opinions.
The only person who knows what was going through Robinson's mind is the man himself and I doubt we'll ever get to know what that was

Sadly it seems your not allowed to tackle anymore. McBurnie was booked against Wolves for WINNING an interception.
Similar for Egan against Wolves too. He was booked fair doos. But then he was told off later in the game... even though he's entitled to tackle and win the ball. What do refs want? For the opposition player to receive the ball first BEFORE a tackle is put in? It seems a lot of these where 2 players going for the same ball end up in some way a foul. Football is just getting softer and softer and refs NEVER want to listen! (Slaven Bilic today V West Brom for wanting a word with Mike Dean... red carded!) Players should only get carded when its really bad, not bog standard tackles and obvious tackles. But then refs let players get away with obstruction, pass backs, foul throws, not taking throw ins from correct places (although I have seen refs clamp down on this point more often now). So it's like they just make it up and aren't accountable or approachable.
