I don’t understand why anybody would hold out to go to palace and work under that dinosaur
If it's really between us and Palace, and assuming that we can both afford the asking price, then you have to weigh up the pros & cons for the player & agent. Both clubs will offer regular playing time, but I expect Palace can blow us out of the water with wages.
The move back home might also be a plus point, but we don't know how attached he is to London, as he walked away from it once, admittedly to play for Liverpool.
The think that could potentially tip it in our favour is what Klopp might have recommended to him for his development. We know that Klopp really rates and respects Wilder, so he may have pointed out the benefits of playing for an up and coming manager, over a seasoned and (let's be honest) outgoing manager in Hodgson.
Hmmm
Palace seem to be signing a lot of attacking players. I think they'll be a lot better this season.
Eze, Zaha, Ayew, Batshuyai, possibly Benrahma... he has to weigh up whether he'd get game time there, but if he believes he can then it would seem a no brainer.
A better attacking outfit, probably paying better money and a move closer to home. Reading between the lines from Wilder's interview last night, "we haven't put all of our eggs in one basket" he didn't sound too confident. My guess is that Brewster and his team have their eye on the Palace move.
Possibly, but as you say he could have a bit of traffic to get through for a starting place. Now that Mousset is injured, I think (as things stand) there is only Didsy standing between him and a starting place alongside McBurnie.
Maybe the Brewster deal is done but Liverpool have asked us to delay the announcement until Thiago is announced so the scousers don’t get as upset about losing their wonderkidtheyre paying £5m upfront for Thiago. They do not need to sell Brewster to fund him anymore.
Sarr maybe, but that’s not happening today.
I think "Are they in the Prem?" + "Will they pay me enough for 3 years" will be about as far as most footballers get in analysis terms.Plus we finished 9th in the league last season. Feel like if we can’t attract players now, we never will.
Will be turned on it's head tomorrow when you get a tweet from @SheffieldUnited that is simply "✍"
It's happened before so we should kind of expect it Pal.F off palace I still get shudders when I hear that shitty glad all over song. Be a sad day if he signs for them
SourceApparently hung like a fucking donkey....quite the draw I hear
My best mates brother in law was Academy coach at West Brom said he used to shower with players after match and would give them post match analysis completely starkers....was a very dedicated talc man apparently!!Source
You’ve hacked my family videos
But he'll need to use it cautiously...if he wants to protect his ringWe could offer him a toilet paper factory.. if thats his thing
Think the cut off point for players coming in for Monday is 12pm so if this isn't announced any minute then expect he won't be in for Monday.
Note that Palace just loaned Batshuayi on £100k+ per week.If it's really between us and Palace, and assuming that we can both afford the asking price, then you have to weigh up the pros & cons for the player & agent. Either they went out on the lash after the game?
Walked home?
Or met Brewster and either his representatives in Lancashire last night?
Hope it's the latter.
