I see what you're saying, but the way I'm seeing that part of the equation; what's more likely at our club currently? (A) Young English player that just had a good season in the Champ? (B) Or someone from overseas?
 

Would LOVE to get him on a perm. But would be almost as delighted with a loan. Just feel this kid is the one.
 
Believe it or believe it not but just received a text from a friend who has contacts to say he has been signed for £20 million. No idea of buy back etc.
But the Guy is a Wednesday supporter and I feel would not have passed it on unless it was true.

Good enough for me, he's as credible as any other ITK on here. If we were ranked on ITK info we would be relegated by Christmas.

That’s my view too.

What we know from Wilder is

He‘s excited about the potential signing....as mentioned before.....Wilder is professional and never shows premature excitement regards a signing.
This strongly suggests a gentleman’s agreement has already been done.
Wilder is normally frustrated and gaurded about delays and wheeling and dealing
but this time he just explained he needs to stay patient regards the striker.

If it was a signing...delays are dangerous as teams like Aston Villa can jump in.
Wilder looked surprisingly smug...so I reckon it’s a loan and already agreed in principle.

The manager of the other club must be someone he respects and trusts.
Also regards loans we need to be more attractive than the other clubs that are interested.
Klopp has already said he likes Wilder and respects Sheff Utd as a club.
So adding up the clues....Brewster to Sheff Utd on loan does look a decent guess.

The counter theory is he’s confirmed we’re looking abroad too and to date no foreigners have been brought in.

I mean, I can’t think of any reason why a fan of our biggest rivals would try and get us excited about a potential new signing when it’s not true.

Could be true but I still find it odd after what Klopp said today. Why say no decision made when there supposedly has been?

If he’s to leave then why not just say Liverpool have accepted a bid? Just seems odd that’s alL

Still, another perm signing of a striker would be encouraging

I can think of lots of reasons a pig would send you a text that isn't true.

Has anyone noticed our squad numbers for this season.
From 1 to 29 all the squads number have been allocated.

However the number 24 and 27 have not yet been allocated....currently blank.

I wonder why?

Seriously though, I have been confident that we would land him for weeks, but surely if anything had advanced then it would be in the press by now? Simply because the "will they sell him or won't they" saga has been a top story for a while.
