Prefer the green myself ,sufc are going to get a good chunk of my spare cash this season either way
I think the green looks to like last season's, the season before and the other seasons green kit, just with matching shorts......
And as for the shit cheap looking collars this season, I'm out.

I right like that, is it available to buy?

Not yet, just checked.

I'd have a look once a week on sufcdirect because nothing gets announced.

They sold a third GK kit last season, no publicity.

Because its the goalkeepers 3rd strip

Do they actually stick to the home/away/3rd keepers kit or just wear whichever they prefer? I'm sure in the past they've release a "home gk kit" that was hardly ever actually worn?

not a huge fan of any of the gk kits this season

Could have had myself the white 3rd away kit a couple of seasons ago. Saw it in the shop but wasn't impressed by the quality or the price (was it really £70 or am I imagining that?). I spoke to someone in the shop at the same time who was looking at buying two so let him use out STs for discount.

I've bought the green short sleeve GK kit, I like the Barney the dinosaur one in theory but not enough to own it, but a short sleeve one might win me round.

Well I was randomly in the club shop one day during that season, and there was a white kit, but it wasn't the white third kit, it was a white GK kit.

At that point we'd never even worn a white GK kit, I don't think we did for months after I saw them, think we only wore it once or twice.

It seems completely random what's in our shop.

I think this was announced so being available I popped in. Wasn't sufficiently impressed though. I like the away kits for the different colours. Still baulking at paying £55 for the pink one though with no ST discount.

A while back Fiorentina had five different shirts, (each representing and area of the city I think). They used the purple one for home colours and the other four for away or keeper colours depending on the opposition.
This is effectively what we have but we restrict three of the five shirts for goalkeepers only. Why not use the goalie kits for away kits where there is likely to be a clash of colours?
Are the goalie shirts the same as normal shirts or do they have padding?

Not sure premier League rules would allow it.

You can register 3 shirts and apply for special dispensation to use 1 kit not registered in a one off game. This is why teams wear next season's shirt on the last game of the season sometimes.

This season was different and teams were allowed to wear their new shirts for all post lockdown games because some contracts had run out with sponsors and manufacturers

It does a bit. I went in towards the end of the 100 points season and came out with a home shirt with no sponsor on it.

The club probably get kits with no sponsor on as the academy/women have different sponsors, they maybe just decided to sell off the stock that wouldn't be used for academy/womens teams

I don't know for sure, but I'm almost certain they get them from the supplier with no sponsor and then use a printing company to put the sponsors on. It's why you can also buy the 125 white home shirt without a sponsor (which I also have).
