No. That’s Ravel. Can tell it isn’t recent there’s no studio in the corner between Kop/south standIs this him I wonder? On the right side of the photo
Ah right just put oli Burke in on Twitter earlier and that photo popped upNo. That’s Ravel. Can tell it isn’t recent there’s no studio in the corner between Kop/south stand
Yeah I saw it earlier and thought the same till I realisedAh right just put oli Burke in on Twitter earlier and that photo popped up
The bulge is lower than the chest, he's kinda strange shaped. I hope this doesn't happen next season:
Is it even a genuine photo anyway Bruce?
He ain’t got a Scottish accent! You can even hear how Scottish he is from a photo.
He looks like he won't be neshing any 50/50 tackles..........
So have we signed the fat twat then, or what..?
He looks like someone that could claim to be a distant relative of all three of JOC, Dean Windass and Ched Evans.
He'll be one of three things. A McGoldrick, a Hogan or a Morrison. This has got 'let's give it a try, it's low risk" written all over it. We'll probably never know the financial details of the deal, but it's not like CW has ever shafted us in that regard. Quite the opposite in fact.
Kinda feels like if he didn't have above average strength and pace he wouldn't be allowed anywhere near a footy field.I think you're spot on with that.
The thing that intrigues me most from what I've read about this lad Burke, is that he's got a combination of great pace, great strength and the mind of a duck (apparently). At least that's how several articles have painted him. I've read that he's totally tactically unaware. We might have to remind him which way we're kicking? But, it sounds like, if we can get him running the right direction, and remind him to take the ball with him, he could be an amazing asset. I'm really looking forward to this one, perhaps more than any of the signings we've made so far. Because I've a feeling it's going to be great entertainment watching him - never quite knowing what he's going to do next! Some of it brilliant, some of it awful! Should be a reyt laugh!![]()
How did the Mousset signing 'annoy' you?I would be very annoyed and underwhelmed at this signing.
I was also very annoyed and underwhelmed last year when we signed Mousset.
So I will reserve my judgement.
Having said that.. still confused at the deal. Why a loan? Is it a swap? Swap plus cash to loan? Never heard of a deal like that. What if he rips it up for us and then wba stay up and then they just take him back to play up top with an also rejuvenated Robinson? Seems a weird deal. I can’t think of a deal that wilder has been behind where we haven’t come off better. I feel like with this deal we are leaving ourselves open for that to be the case. Again, not sure, will wait and see and no doubt be proved wrong.
Cheers. That reminds me, I need to pop to Screwfix for some wing nuts
