11 minutes of pure Wingback porn from when he played in THE Frank Lampard Derby County side. I really really bloody hope we get this over the line. šŸ˜

Edit: The backing music in last couple of minutes is fairly questionable... (very Kevin and Perry) šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Watch that then watch Matty Cash's video ( showreel ) and tell me who looks the better player

Highlights and numbers wise and from matches I've watched Bogle looks the better prospect and suits us more. I thought a bigger richer club would've gambled on him at this stage. If we get him I will be delighted.

We all do mate but we'd have even more confidence in his judgement if he was going into battle with a bit.more.live ammo!

No problem with signing good value back up and I've been pretty relaxed and supportive of the board so far. However if they are 3 of our 5 incomings the other 2 need to be capable of immediately improving the first 11
We don’t know that he isn’t well armed.
There’s a difference between not being able to afford and not being prepared to pay over the odds.

In a perfect world, of course we would all love to spend willy nilly for whoever we wanted and who we know would fit into our squad structure here. However, I do think a healthy dose of realism needs to be looked at for some and realize how we will go about our business. More and more that I have thought about the prospect of getting these two the more I like it.

Both will be very solid backup and/or competition, are at great ages to continue to improve, and can provide us a different attacking look in games that for the most part we did not have last season. Different figures have been touted so who really knows what the true figure is, but as always will trust that Wilder and company will get the best deal that they can.

Numbers don’t equal qualityšŸ¤”

No but it gives us less options and less chance of being able to turn gamea around.

After the lockdown we were crying out for creativity and crying out for some quality to come off the bench and help change games but we didn't have that option more often than not especially with injuries and suspensions.

Spot on!

We have to remember that players develop at different rates. Maybe Cash is a bit further ahead than Bogle at the moment? But Bogle is obviously excellent potential and honestly, I think CWAK could turn me into a decent footballer.

(I have offered my services many times and sent them all my Green ā€˜Un match report cuttings from the 1970’s Sheffield pub league, (no YouChube in them days see?). They’ve not said yes yet, but then again they’ve not said no. So I may yet be one of the surprise 5 signings this week. šŸ¤” )
In dreams you shine all of the time, in beautiful dreams.....(listen to the version by Sissel if you like music)

Which suggests there may be a good time to be relegated? It's as if you imagine that Wilder is bereft of insight and what this club needs?

You must be aware that a sizeable chunk of money was returned due to the upheaval of the virus, add to which we don't have a sugar daddy to supplement these losses and it should be clear that the picture you paint is short of what most supporters already know? Plus we've been outbid on most of the transfer targets we were interested in, and you should grasp that Wilder will have faced a frustrating time in assembling new recruits for the coming season.

Maybe if you're still unconvinced, why not send a plan of action to Wilder, outline what he's doing wrong, advise he follows your plan of action and should he deviate that he's only got himself to blame. You never know, he might just come round to the idea that within the ranks of scrupulously correct Blades, there exists a few insightful types who know that bit more and shouldn't be ignored. Should this be the case then a statue awaits, possibly even a blue plaque. Personally I can't wait until you offer up a detailed set of plans that identify how we finance these signings you say we're lacking, so chop chop, no time to waste, maybe your moment has arrived.....or maybe you're as clueless as your posts seem to suggest. I can't recall your posts before last season began, so if by any chance you posted would you mind refreshing my memory on the topic of how poor our chances were of surviving with such a limited squad?
Do we know that we have been out bid on any other than a Cash ?

Reportedly Robinson......plus Wilder, on more than one occasion, has commented on the fact that we have been either outbid or, and it amounts to the same thing, a player was offered wages that currently we're unable to compete with. As CW is used to saying, we're fishing in very different waters to most Prem clubs.

I spoke to Derby supporting friend of mine about Bogle. He saidā€Why have you got in touch with me, I haven’t see or heard from you in over 5 years plus you still owe me money from that loan I gave you to buy a car which you spent on a holiday. And didn’t you try chatting my Mrs up when I was out fetching some food the last time you came round. You can fuck right off!!!ā€ He’s blocked my number now. šŸ˜’šŸ˜’

We don’t need them to be - we need them to be better than Kieron Freeman and Kean Bryan. And then see if they can become better than Baldock and Stevens over the next few years. I haven’t seen much of Lowe but I’d say Bogle is better now than Baldock was when we signed him. Neither Baldock or Stevens was anything close to what they are now when they signed for us, so hopefully these two follow similar paths.

Which of the players who you moan about being missing ever came on and changed a game?
And which do YOU believe were able to do that?

(assuming we actually sign them - seems like we’ve jumped the gun on more than a few players so far this summer)
Agree Beans weve had some disappointments already this window but listening to the Derby coach it sounds like this one is well down the road to completion
Wilder seemed very confident post PNE match

People are potentially underplaying these signings. Yes Baldock and Stevens are modern legends and top class premiership fullbacks but if these lads chain together any decent form (Especially Bogle) I would not be surprised to see them quickly develop into first choice players faster than expected.

I agree. They are both young and show potential plus they have played for Derby as regulars last season. They will provide good competition for Enda and George.
Jack Robinson was bought for cover. This looks to be different and I hope the deals get done

Robinson changed the game at Stamford Bridge for a start and i think we was too quick to loan him out.

For a start? I mean, there weren't that many games last season you can call on to boost your point. He scored 1 in 17 games and that was in August 2019... He then did the grand total of F.A. until his loan to W.B.A at the end on January 2020. Where, BTW, he only managed 3 in 16. In the championship. I like the lad, but he's hardly setting the world alight.

The other point about our wing backs is that they are asked to run their socks off up and down the pitch attacking and also defending. Over a whole season particularly if we have some decent Cup runs and even get into Europe there is a great physical challenge to keep up energy levels and survive knocks and injuries with a large number of fixtures. If Bogle and Lowe are good enough it gives us the ability to rotate the wing backs ang keep them all reasonably fresh.

Not really seen much of Bogle but if he plays like that for us in our system

He’ll be some player absolute baller

More so Enda than George as we have seen his form waver at times. Baldock is a machine, never runs out of juice. He will be relishing the challenge from a top young RWB and will improve again IMO.

Would be an amazing signing to get this over the line for the reported £5million.
Would provide great competition for Baldock and at 20 is a fantastic age for the future of the club
Yes, and wouldn`t be too bad playing just behind the front two.

Totally different we are in the premier league and this season is crucial for us financially especially with everything that is going off with this coronavirus we cant afford to get relegated.

We need to invest in better quality players and right now we are weaker than we was last season and it only 8 days tomorrow till we play Wolves at the Lane.
Can you piss off from this forum please you fucking oinker

I don’t think it’s overly alarmist to calmly observe that our likely starting 11 going into this season is, on paper, marginally weaker than it was last season. Solely as a consequence of swapping Henderson for Ramsdale (the other 10 starters will be the same I would expect) - I think Rammers will prove to be an excellent signing but I think most would agree that as of right now Hendo is the better keeper.

I don’t think this is a problem and the window isn’t done yet so maybe one of the ā€œforwardsā€ Wilder is after will be starting 11 type signing. Even if it isn’t I think that the business in this window (if the Derby wing-backs stuff comes off) has been good and it very much looks like we will be starting with a stronger overall squad than last year.

That’s my 10 pence worth anyway -confident for the season ahead, but don’t think we have upgraded our starting 11 as yet.
