Interesting that we are picking up points against arguably two of the strongest starting 11's in the league, yet get turned over by Scunny.

A good point - particularly as Forest are unbeaten at home for 12 months. Frustrating that we appear to have given another soft goal away though. And whilst Boggy sounded decent I still don't see where our goals are going to come from.
Preston, a team below us score 6 at Elland Road. That's a ground we couldn't score at. Derby win again. Portsmouth win again. After throwing away a golden chance of victory United languish 3 points above the drop zone. A whopping 5 goals from 9 games gives us the worst attacking record in the league (by some way).
I'm sure we'll get the calls of we should have won, if only Boggy had scored, Forrests goal came out of the blue, our luck will change soon ...... Speedo knows the problems, lets give him time, be patient. The relegation form continues with the teams below us improving steadily.

Ollesandro (and a host of others, including myself) wanted Blackwell out but now, about 4 weeks into Speed's tenure, the storm clouds are brewing again. When will it all end?
Really? You think a few keyboard warriors on a message board amounts to storm clouds? I don't think what they post is at all representative of a general feeling and you give them more credibility than they deserve.
Most supporters are a bit more balanced and perceptive in their view.

I did expect this after we only got a draw where few teams come away with much and were denied the three points only by a 35 yard screamer. I'm very much afraid Grafikhaus that the lunatics have taken over this particular asylum. They shouted for Blackwell to go, but now seven games into the new manager, they are already been telling him what side to pick and how they'd do it better. Its little man syndrome, in which their opinions are elevated to fact, and actual 'fact' that the guy who does the job, whos been in football day in day out for 25 years at the top level, thinks differently to them is enough to prove that he is completely clueless.
I get called 'clapper' but the little group of negative posters seemingly are just sitting around waiting for the opportunity to out-do each other with how they can wax lyrical about how shite we are, like a some bizarre Pythonesque clique.
A: 'I once sat through a whole 90 mins of a Blackwell game playing 4-5-1 away from home and we didn't get a single shot on target'
B: 'You were lucky. We walked all the way to Colchester, didnt have a shot on or off target, lost 3-0 and I didn't get a hand delivered apology from the club'
C: 'Walked to Colchester? Luxury. we crawled on our hands an knees to watch a Tuesday night game at Plymouth, half the team didn't turn up, the rest stood around like traffic cones, no shots no corners, we lost 14-0, and then on the way home we got run over and killed on the M5, and it was all Speedos and McCabes fault. But you try telling that to the clappers'
I personally feel that anyone who chooses their forum signature as
"I've got clouds on a sunny day ........ more critical than Alan Hansen, more miserable than Mark Lawrenson and less pleasent than Gordon Ramsey"
...is giving us a great big clue as to what is the most important thing in their mind, and it isn't the best interests of SUFC...

Would play this line-up for the next game.
Simonsen
De Laet Ertl Nosworthy Jordan
Calve Monty Britton Yeates
Cresswell Bogdanovic
Subs: Lowton, Quinn, Evans, Wright, Slew, Taylor, Chappell
The bigger picture that really counts is the goals scored column.
Five goals in nine games is telling.

Shame Dazzler's no longer around but I wonder what the record is for not scoring more than one goal in a game from the start of the season.
Continuing the same goal ratio will mean relegation.
For all the brave words about how early it is etc, etc I wonder how many really believe where the goals are going to come from without new players coming in.

Nurse, nurse, I'm about to agree with len!
Not entirely, about the bigger picture, he's looking up the wrong end of the telescope to get a bigger picture. However, our lack of goals is extremely worrying and not something we've been used to in recent seasons.
I believe it will get better without new strikers arriving. Cresswell was into double figures last season, so unless that was an aberration, we can expect him to score. We haven't seen Bogdanovic so far, but he's proven at this level. Then there's our £750k man......;-)
What we don't have is much prospect of goals from midfield.
Whichever way you look through the telescope, the goals scored figure remains at five.
I've only seen the home games and Cardiff and Boro on tv this season but out of six games seen the only one where we created a number of chances - or our frontline looked mobile or dangerous - was the first half against Scunthorpe.
A continuation of that will see relegation.
