Colin lives about as near to Penzance as Sheffield is to Skeggy!
Cornwall is bigger than most people seem to think - and there are quite a few Blades live there.

Do you all remember that there is a Blades flag on Everest? Courtesy of Mr Ian Tootill a Wednesday fan who climbed that mountain in aid of cancer which he sadly died from. But if I remember righty a mate of his (blade) said if I give you £1000 towards your charity would you do that and he said....yes! A blades legend even though he supported the other side! Sometimes loyalties defies daft nonsense! UTB and rest in peace sir a true Sheffield legend!

Everest Blades Flag

I had a mate called David Moorewood, not seem him for years and lost contact. massive Blades fan.lived in Cambourne near st Ives.that is something hew would do a big Blades Flag on display.

...or it's just been a tad breezy lately.

I have seen a big Blades flag on the back road from St Ives to Penzance, village of Gulval I think.
Other strange fact. There is a tiny village called Sheffield not far from Penzance. Where Mousehole football club play, who are, or were, managed by a certain Wayne Quin.
I love this part of the country, which is as far away in England as you can possibly go, yet still there are reasons to feel at home.

Driving into Penzance this morning on the St Ives rd big fuck off blades flag planted in a front garden......very impressive and put a big smile on our faces.......owner?

Sorry to disappoint you all it's not a flag, it's our lasses knickers drying out on back.

Not me, I’m in north Cornwall- did spot a lass in a Blades shirt in Morrison’s car park last week though. I assume she was on holiday but I couldn’t bring myself to say anything as I didn’t think that me admiring her top through a mutual love of a team from Yorkshire would stack up too well with the rozzers if things were misinterpreted.....
