If there were no words on any football badge, would you still be able to recognise that club?

Top drawer that
Unfortunately some people seem very uncomfortable with us losing our identity by changing the colours, as if we're creating a brand new badge or something.I'm all for it. When our away kit came out the first thing I commented on was the pink and red clash.
Would have preferred the badge and sponsor blacked / greyed out.
Are we that uncomfortable with a badge change that we think we are going to be instantly unrecognisable? It should be a Sheffield United football shirt first and foremost and not a fashion accessory and therefor should always have the correct badge on it.
It’s got to be cheaper for the kit manufacturers to use the existing stock of red white and black badges rather than making new ones of different colours. There is no justification in changing it.Yes colour the badge to make the kit look more groovy (if that's still a word).
Make it Pink on ladies oppression day, multi coloured on Rainbow laces day, black in solidarity with the US brothers and maybe even white once in a while so we can boo it.
Or of course we could just stick with our own history and put two fingers up to the kit designers who don't have a scooby where little old Sheffield might be.
No, not at all, it’s just that orange isn’t our club colours. That shirt would look smarter with the proper badge on it.Are we that uncomfortable with a badge change that we think we are going to be instantly unrecognisable?
The current badge has been in our history since... 1999Yes colour the badge to make the kit look more groovy (if that's still a word).

I think it was a bit earlier but that’s not the point, whatever the current club badge is should be the one worn on the shirts. The current badge has been in our history since... 1999
Do you think that Ajax kit would look half as good with their normal badge?I think it was a bit earlier but that’s not the point, whatever the current club badge is should be the one worn on the shirts.

It had a brief spell and was brought back in 99Eh?
1977 for most on here. Have you been away?
Nah. Our badge is so strong that it would work in any colours and formats as long as you keep most of the main components. Even on some of our best ever kits (80s into 90s) it was lacking the background.Absolutely fucking not. This is identity, our badge, who we are. It is not some logo to be tinkered with by some pillock that thinks they're the next Paul Smith. Design over substance bollocks, fuck that!
So, just make sure you know, it's no. No way, and never!

Don’t think anyone said anything about changing the colouring in.
I couldn't care less about Ajax to be honest.Do you think that Ajax kit would look half as good with their normal badge?
Not the question I askedI couldn't care less about Ajax to be honest.
I don’t care about Ajax so I don’t know what their club badge looks like which is why I can’t answer. Not the question I asked
