First go(tin hat goes on)

  • Allez Allez Allez wouldnt have caught on if it was our fans who started it
  • Its pathetic we sing about Norwich
  • We try to over-complicate songs and add too much
  • Hate we call them "Wendy"
  • Our fans are only loyal when it suits them, we talk about Lg1 years and our support but only 21k for a Play off semi was a disgrace despite how the season ended
  • Seems to be common but i thought Hammond and Woolford would be good signings
  • I think a lot of pundits were right to doubt us this season and think we jumped on the bandwagon to be offended by everything even if its valid(Steve Nicol exempt)
  • Sacking Blackwell was one of biggest mistakes we made(in the short term)
  • Neil Collins was decent and had a good footballing brain.
  • I liked the Gold Midas games kit
Apologies, probably a few more but i didnt want to be accused of being a "wendy"!
I agree with at least half of these. That Allez Allez Allez song is appalling, as is the Berge song.

I like the Norwich ‘take your time’ one though - like the ‘champions of league one’ we sang against Liverpool, off the cuff songs have easily been our best new ones over the past decade or two.

I quite like Leeds.

Big northern club with a proper old fashioned but impressive stadium and passionate fans. Not as pretentious as some of the other big clubs whose fans could never cope with multiple relegations like the leeds supporters have.

The 'dirty leeds' era and occasions when they would take our best players are before my time, so my memories of them are mostly from the early 2000s to present day, which essentially consists of them falling from Champs league SF into League 1/Championship and us beating them on a fairly regular basis, be it in the league, cups or to promotion, which has been quite satisfying.

I would be quite happy for them to become our de facto Yorkshire rivals whilst Wednesday slowly fall down the leagues into obscurity, leaving us to enjoy some fiery derbies between the two of us.
Impressive stadium?

It's an absolute shit hole

Give over the Berge chant is superb , voted second best chant , in the prem .

The Berge song would be better if the second line wasn't just a mumble because people don't know which bit others are singing.

Should stick with "plays for the Blades wi John Egan" every time. The "Norwood and Fleck are the reason, we're playing in Europe next season" line detracts from Berge if anything rather than being a tribute to him.

I thought the words were "with Norwood and Fleck he's the reason" but nobody sings that.

Keep it simple. We're not good at innovative songs.

Leeds WBA & Fulham will do much better than Bournemouth Watford & Norwich.
We will find it much harder to finish above halfway.
Personally think West Brom and Fulham are 2 poor PL squads with 2 poor PL managers. I guess recruitment is going to be massive, and I don't trust both to knock it out of the park.

0898 888 650 (think this was the number or maybe this was the number of the heavy breathing traffic warden?!) Bladesline was a pile of crap.

Remember getting a good whack off my old man for racking up a big bill on my nans phone....only to find out that Tony Agana had pie and chips for tea whilst watching Tenko!

I see you’ve never lived in, or worked in/ around Leeds.

Just wait until the coming season. Their fans are worse than Wednesday’s.

Even the sad lyrics cited above will have been filched off some other set of fans.

You even got the number right.
I preferred Miss Cynthia ordering me to do the washing up.

I have always believed that we should get the Bish of Sheffield to cast his spell and his (holy) water on the ground at BDTBL to exorcise any malignant thoughts and hex's that are preventing us winning anything in the silverware department.
