So the league make-up is now finalised. Fixtures will be out shortly with only 5 weeks to kick off. Are you confident of a repeat of last season? I think we will be fine again and will push the top 6 although we need to improve our goalscoring. Can't wait. Bring em on!

Looking forward to it. A top 10 finish would be another very good achievement and I think we are capable of it. If we can add pace and firepower we could be pushing for the top 6. I'm confident we'll stay out of trouble.

Feel like I did before we stormed the Championship. I think we're a couple of players away from a very good team and a couple of players away from being a poor one. If we hold on to what we've got then I'm confident, if we add some quality then I'll be very happy.

Another top 10 finish, a good cup run, quarters minimum and an extra 10-15 goals would be good progress.

Not saying it will be easy but that is what the club ought to be targeting

The last thing I'm expecting is pushing for the top 6. If we do I'll obviously be delighted but I think we need to lower our expectations because we massively over achieved this season.

I think we will finish top 10 but see no reason we can't push on and finish in a Europe spot as well.Nice cup run would be good too.

I know lots of differing opinions on the cups but I love them;gives guys more playing time and more chances to win a trophy

I Honestly thought last season , we had built a squad to win the championship , if we were relegated , CW/AW etc proved otherwise ,but i wonder if that was what was planned . ✍✍✍

I'll take another season in the prem. Anything else is a bonus. We over achieved last season.... Massively. I'm confident we can avoid the drop but I'm realistic enough to appreciate how tough life at the top is.

Would take survival still. 14th was my prediction for last season and I would snap arm for that again.

Last season, prior to a ball being kicked, I was quite worried. Realised quite quickly most teams outside the top 6 (ish) were nothing to be worried about. Then started thinking no team outside the top two were beyond us.
After lockdown, not as confident, but if we've learned the season long lesson (i.e. any team we're up against will try and con the poor incompetent twat in the middle) I think we can hit the 12th to 15th target.

I'll say between 10th and 14th with the squad we have more or less intact, add a couple of players with ability and drive, that fit the gaffers ethics and I believe 6th to 8th. I'd also like the whole Henderson saga sorted asap, either back for another year or give one of the other 3 keepers the confidence boost. TBH I'm fed up with the whole Henderson saga, I get he wants to be number 1 at manure, but would anyone have the bollox to drop de gea and pay him his wages to square his arse while a relative unknown plays?
At the end of the day if we can emulate Everton or even Burnley and stay in the premier for a good few years, not really bothered where we finish.

With strength in depth and good quality cover for every position, as well as options for tactical changes and introducing ‘game changers’ .... whilst not forgetting rub of the green with key injuries (and VAR!!) we should be better than the bottom three teams.
Confidence from this season will also aid team belief.
Premier league consolidation will be our priority of course. CW always compares our development model to Burnley’s PL existence & I for one would take that!

Last season had a similar feel to our first back in the Championship, good start but ran out of steam (albeit this time perhaps a lot more to do with Covid than anything else).

Wilder has improved his league finish year on year. This will be his biggest challenge yet to maintain that feat, but I have faith it can be done.

A successful season will still be staying up, and I fancy us for another solid mid-table finish, but I would not be surprised if Wilder keeps his run going and we're bothing the European places again. We do need to add goals to the team though.
