Afternoon all,

Old Roygbiv and I looked back on the season in the only way a podcast can, by giving out pretend awards for a bunch of different categories for 2019/20, including best/worst/funniest moments, best/worst performances, biggest disappointments, worst piece of officiating, player of the season, goal of the season, and best and worst pundits.

Finally, we summarise every Premier League team's season in just one word, before revisiting the predictions we made for the season way back last summer (some of which have not aged well).

Thanks for listening, UTB!

Also on Apple and Spotify.

Hardest working men on the forum!

enjoyed as always abd thanks for all the enjoyment you’ve provided over the season

Two nice surprises today
First one was realising I wasn't actually an.hour late for work and didnt have to come up with some ridiculous excuse for not setting my alarm

Second was your pod being on line
Love your work lads ,one of the high points of being a blade this last few years has been listening to you Roy and way back when jay
Put things into perspective when sometimes as I'm sure you've noticed we can.go a bit overboard emotionally with our love for the team

Fantastic pod, as always. The work you guys do really has enhanced the season for me. Always look forward to them, and they always deliver.

The obvious item missing from the "funniest moment of the season" list, btw, was your debate about which Prem managers would be best and worst in a fight. Still makes me smile now.

Many thanks. Here's to many more. Good luck with dem awards 👍

Thanks a lot, and forgot all about the best/worst managers in a fight. Of course we've lost one of our top-ranked managers now in Pearson, although things are evened out by big softies Farke and Howe leaving the league. Thinking ahead to next season, I suppose Bielsa falls into the Roy Hodgson category (of whom I think Roygbiv said "it would be like hitting your nan") although Bilic would absolutely shiv you without breaking eye contact and Thomas Frank looks like the kind of guy who stands at the bar in a club til 3am not saying a thing to anyone but then breaking a bottle of Heineken over a complete stranger's head just for the hell of it (I am assuming Brentford will beat Fulham).

Bielsa has the look of a poisoner, to me. If you're going to fight him, don't let him buy you a drink beforehand!

As for Thomas Frank, file with Arteta under "M" for "May carry a knife" :)

Really good listen (as ever), with loads of interesting minutiae that I'd forgotten.

As well as just doing the thing, you two must put loads of preparatory work into these. so please accept my sincere thanks.

A great performance on the pitch has been made much more enjoyable by you lads, so take a bow!

Ben puts more work in than me. Particularly editing out my swearing

Just to echo the rest of the comments, loved listening to your pod this season.

Really great content, good, balanced views not too extreme either way and always with the touch of stats and analytics just at the right level for me.

Really enjoyed this one, feels like the 'official' season review 😊

Thank you for all the effort you both put in to it.
