IMO we need someone that we're going to get more than 5 games out of in a season. I can't see Brooks's injury as something he'll shake off, maybe one day he will but I think it's more likely he'll not fully recover and join the list of potential world beaters that got a bad injury too early in their careers

Is that a wind up? Brooks has loads of talent and potential but was terrible out of possession.
He’s your stereotypical luxury player. Unfortunately or fortunately Wilde doesn’t accommodate luxury players.
On an individual basis he’d look one of our better players but the team would suffer. He always puts the team ahead of talented individuals.
I would expect Wilder to use Brooks mainly as sub when we need to bring on someone to potentially change the game.

Brooks strength is when he’s in possession playing fast counter attacking football, think he might be a decent risk for a Man City or Man Utd.

You obviously didn’t watch him much before he got his ankle injury he was one of the best players in the prem which is why Man U/spurs were rumoured to be after him

Doesn't mean he tracks back though, he's got worse at that if anything. He was weak in the challenge and had poor defensive judgement when he was here, now he just stands still once a player has ran past him. Definitely hasn't come on in that area at all.

Unless we're transformed into a 70+% possession team next season, he wouldn't fit with us at all.

He might just stay at Bournemouth anyway by the looks of his Instagram.
