we’d be a perfect fit for Brewster, probably the highest place team who could pretty much guarantee game time (with our front line atm). However i can see Leeds nabbing him, they have Bamford to replace and Klopp will enjoy the idea of tutorage under Bielsa

That was one of my thoughts too. Leeds may be able to pretty much guarantee him as a starter too.

Another decent goal tonight. He’s done very well – I liked his attitude on his debut in the Welsh derby, was very much targeted for late stuff from the Cardiff team but game some back too. Could be a decent loan if available.

Woodburn has proven this season that he wasn’t good enough and needs to be playing every week. He won’t get another deal at Liverpool and so will have to start again like our own Jack Robinson has.

So I don’t see there being an issue with us loaning a Liverpool player. Brewster looks useful, in fact they have quite a few kids that look useful!!

Going to be a good player and has some very nice attributes. But I hope he is not the only option that we are relying on to help improve our goal tally next season. That's if we are even interested.

thought this myself.....

only because of me signing him on FM20............

10 goals on 13 apps.......

Now into the real world......

But yes I think hes a decent shout for a loan move. Seems to have done well at Swansea. Can he make the step up?

I suspect he stays at Swansea if they go up. I'm guessing we're hardly in Liverpool's good books but I'd assume they'd loan him to a team who plays as similar a way to them as possible.

The sun are usually about 95 prevent wrong on.these things so..,..

10 goals in 23 appearances in the champ and people are jizzing over him. Hes nothing more than a decent champ player, nothing special. For context callum robinson had a similar goal to game ratio when he came to us and people are saying we need to get rid now. If we want to compete in the prem long term we need to be aiming WAY above players like this. A squad player at best. We need to be improving our 11.

Why would we be in Liverpool’s bad books? I’m assuming some bollocks about Ben Woodburn

To suggest he’s anything like Robinson as a player suggests you probably haven’t seen him play much. Brewster is decent with his back to goal, something Robinson is frankly terrible at, and one of the reasons he’s struggled for us. Coupled with his aggression, he would be a much better fit for us than Robinson if we stick with the same formation next season.

For even more context, 10 goals in 23 appearances is a goal to game ratio bang in the middle of Sharp and McGoldrick (less than Sharp, more than McGoldrick) for the 18/19 season, a season where we got promoted and arguably had a much better team than Swansea had this season.

Brewster's an out and out striker who plays on the shoulder of the last defender and can stretch the game. The type we need. Is he good enough - I've no idea. He'll definitely improve the balance though.I'm not convinced he'll leave Liverpool this season as the noises coming out of Anfield is that there's little to spend. They only have Origi for back up down the middle. I can see Klopp keeping him around.

Klopp speaks very very highly of CW. Ben Woodborn ended up dropping down to league one level it’s not like we got him and didn’t play him for any other reasons than his ability wasnt As good as expected.

Liverpool won't be loaning us anyone after Woodburn. Brewster will have a ton of clubs after him.
Dont see why Klopp should hold a grudge, he wad sent out on loan to gain experience he was shown to be short as you can see where he is now ,not good enough.
That is the idea behind loans to see if the player has got what it takes to be a top player.
He has faded after a meteoric start to his career, there are many young players that fade into the lower divisions.
Not writing the lad off but he has to take the opportunity,s offered him.

Just watched about an hour of footage on this kid having seen nothing of him before.

I’d incorrectly assumed he’d be a speed merchant because of his build, but he’s not that quick.

He looks to be a really clever player, not afraid to come deep and scrap, but also likes to pelt it for the 6 yard box when the ball reaches the final third.

I think he’d be fantastic in our system, but I reckon Liverpool will use him as Firminho back-up.

Minamino was bought as the long term successor to Firmino?

Hes been rated as the best English youngster up there with greenwood he won player of the tournament at the u19 world cup 😂

I wouldn’t worry too much. OrderOfStGeorge has previous for slagging Blades fans. It was all he did on his previous account, before he got banned.

Clearly mistaking me for someone else but what you think of my posts is irrelevant anyway we are all entitled to our opinions UTB.

... aside from the fact that literally nobody would, I guess you're right.

Why is it then that every time we are linked with real quality players that people start moaning about transfer fees and wages?.

Please explain that one to me?.
