VAR - Bottom of the pile

Only change with VAR and ManU / Liverpool instead of playing against fourteen men your now playing against fifteen.

Not only that, but Fernandes grabs his shin, with both hands like he’s trying to stem the flow of blood from a serious compound fracture.

But watching it back there’s quite clearly been absolutely no contact with his shin? So in my opinion, the EPL or FA or whoever, should retrospectively punish him with a four game ban for deliberately feigning injury in an attempt to deceive the match official?

Won’t happen obviously, but the game would be all the better For it, if it did 🤯

I know you've said about the retrospective ban in jest, but I've been thinking they should have been doing this for years. It's as bad if not worse than diving IMO.

Listening to the games without the fake FIFA20 crowd noise just highlights how much cheating there is. There's been many a challenge, tackle, or whatever made and someone goes down screaming in agony like they've been shot. Then nine times out of ten the one who's life has just been ended judging by their howls of agony gets the free kick. And worst of all the referees are falling for it.

And all you get from these so called 'expert' former players is that they've been 'clever'. It's not clever at all, it's cheating!

It is things like this Wilder has avoided our players getting involved in but sadly we may have to start doing it next season.

It's great to see us staying on our feet as a team, or if there's a crunching tackle on one of them they're straight back up and getting on with it. When maybe rolling about holding something would get a free kick or penalty and the opposition player booked.

Pretty sure Wilder has referred to it as 'the dark arts of the Premier League' at some point this season?

Just listened to Mourinho's interview and I know he likes a good moan about referees, but if they're giving the 'foul' on Fernandes, then surely the push on Kane is, while soft, a penalty?

It's these inconsistencies in the decisions which is angering fans, players and managers. But while you've got the same pool refs who are making these decisions whether on the pitch or with VAR, nothings going to change.

Pretty sure that the first goal we scored against Everton (Norwoods corner) was looked at by var for a short while before it was finally given

In all 3 games VAR gave an incorrect decision, according to Dermot Gallagher.

Man United given one incorrectly.
Tottenham incorrectly denied one.
Southampton given one incorrectly.

Not sure why VAR is still getting the blame at this point.
There's a reason our officials don't attend big tournaments, they make just as many mistakes now they have technology to help.

Hopefully it brings an end to all the 'corruption' conspiracies though.
It's just clear that they're useless, too useless to be corrupt.

I look forward to the day when the VAR kit is ripped out, chucked into a big box and dropped off in Bagpuss's shop. Although fuck knows how Professor Yaffle is going to be able to explain how it worked to Madeleine, Gabriel and the Mice from the Magical Mouse Organ.

Bladesman

Leicester or Chelsea will miss out on the top 4 because of their own horrific results costing them, Leicester losing 4-1 at Bournemouth, Chelsea losing 3-0 at Blades.
Not because Man United have had 'generous' VAR decisions.

Same with Blades and Hawkeye.

He’s so transparent it’s scary!

Because I don't have an inferiority complex?

Leicester (my club), will miss out on Top 4 because Rodgers ego has cost us too many points this season.....
VAR has nothing to do with Leiceser (my club), dropping points against Norwich, Brighton and Bournemouth this season.
