Team just didn't turn up, nowt to do with Wilder.I'm blaming Wilder, he's got selection wrong or tactics wrong or both. 14 outfield players don't all look wank at the same time for no apparent reason.
14 players all had off days? I'm looking for a common factor, were they all up till 3 playing CoD? That might explain it. I'd say Rogers out thought Wilder.Team just didn't turn up, nowt to do with Wilder.
I think like many of us he is a fan, feels gutted & is letting his emotions flow.I can see why he is annoyed and I was as well the performance was well below par. But I honestly think some of them comments are out of order. I dont think he should be saying the players are league 1 quality and saying that people are only bothered when they want to see him about contracts. That's a load of bollocks yeah this game looked like we couldn't be bothered and couldn't get out of second gear but for 80 percent of the season they have worked there socks off and that's why we are where we are. Not sugar coating it as wilder said a below par performance but dont think we should be putting the dressing room down like that goes either one of 2 ways from here now either he gets a reaction or the dressing room could be lost. Ok maybe a bit of a over reaction as I dont think he would loose the dressing room as such but think he has over stepped the mark there.
A lot different to what he said after the reverse fixture. His point then was that he wasn't going to applaud his players for effort, he wanted to see premier league quality and that mental bravery to play with confidence.Sounds similar to what he said after the reverse fixture.
Potentially a bit naive of Wilder I thought.
Expecting a different result from the reverse fixture but playing the same exact way.
Says it how it is. I agree to a certain extent that you are running a risk but our gaffer speaks from the heart and if any of the players don’t like what he says then knock on his door but they’d soon be walking back out again.I can see why he is annoyed and I was as well the performance was well below par. Tonight we got owned and he's clearly totally pissed off about it. Leicester wanted it more and that isn't like us at all
