In group a there’s some legendary kits!! The purple and yellow one is iconic!

1. Grey 09/10 (liked the brown and yellow stripes)
2. Southampton 79 / 81 (Newcastle away was also terrible)
3. Midas 00 /02
4. All white 15/16 (1995/96 - the diamonds was almost as bad - didn't like our Championship promotion shirt - looked like Derby County from the back!

The worst by far was number 4.along with the diamonds and any kit with red or white shorts. They should always be black! Don't really like red socks either!

I too am shooketh that the purple and yellow kit has been put in with this. It's a reyt kit that, not even slightly crap.

Anniversary and knock off Norwich are the worst kits we've ever had imo.

Yeah, we said the same on the podcast- it’s actually a really nice kit, but it’s not a Sheffield United home kit.

A few people have said they like that yellow and purple kit. I’d be interested to know how many of them are also colourblind.

I’m commenting on the appearance of the shirt, can’t remember the material or fit as I was 8 or 9 when I owned it and all shirts were baggy as the sizing of football shirts was/is generally crap.

When Saturday Comes is definitely in the top 10 of films about the Blades, don’t be too harsh.

For me the shirts with McMahon and Brandy in them get marked down straight away but then Dean Hammond wore the 125th year one so that’s tarnished as well. The Patrick ones were terrible and were probably in the time when I got too old to wear kits.

I still don't get how the 99-00 "blades" shirt made it into the group stage ahead of the hfs cardboard sponsor shirt. Even visit Malta was worse. 99-00 had perfect stripes with a black pinstripe and first beautifully. My favourite le coq shirt after the all white wards one.
