Far, far better performance today, even with the changes. We made Spurs look toothless, even with one of the most prolific goalscorers leading their line and a very expensively arranged starting and finishing eleven. For all three goals though, they were like statues watching our attack melt through them. Very pleased with the change in style and attitude today and everyone deserves praise. Great to see what we can do back on show at last, and hopefully our slow, ponderous and largely negative start is over.

At the back we dealt with what was really no actual threat apart from Lamella, in the midfield we battled and won and for a change, we pushed on and fed the attackers.

I care not one fat fuck about their disallowed goal. Great to imagine that 'over the season it evens itself out' and Spurs can just suck in the farts and smile. Lundstram's ten foot boot denied us two points at their gaffe and let's not talk about the Villa goal, eh?

Henderson 7/10. Not a massive amount to do but save some tame shots. His long kicking was particularly good and found McBurnie quite a few times
Baldock 7.5/10 Kept their flanks from penetrating and ran and ran
Robinson 7.5/10 Assured performance. Still not quite Jack, but he is growing into this role
Egan 8.5/10 Had Harry Kane in his back pocket. Yes, you read correctly.
Basham 8.5/10 Still a 100%er. Love his deft flicks and willingness to push through and baffle oppositions with his brazen capability
Stevens 7/10 A far better performance but he is still a bit behind where he was at the beginning of this year. Good set up for Mousses goal
Osbourn 7/10 Thought he had a capable and battling PL debut TBH. A bit hesitant in places and not JF, but given Flecky is off his game was a fair outing
Norwood 6.5/10 At times, he's great, at others, just fucking reckless and wasteful. Lucky to stay on the pitch TBH
Berge 8/10 A tremendous outing for him which goes a long way toward balancing the utter crap he has been showing us. Glad he scored, and deft stuff (at last) for McBurnie's goal
McGoldrick 7.5/10 Typical rewardless graft from Didsy. Does all the chasing and spadework, but gets fuck all
'McShitty' 8.5/10 A deserved goal from 80 minutes of being beaten up by Deir. He did very well today and made Spurs work fucking hard to get the ball away from him.

Mousett 7/10 Good outing and a typical 'in the right position' for his goal.
K Freeman Not on that long

Overall it was so much better. We looked like we wanted it and went out and got it, making Mourinho's supposed superstars look decidedly average and flaccid. Watching their pretty poor defence watching the ball and watching Mouuse and McBurnie tap it in was a joy. I hope Wilder picks the same eleven for Burnley on Sunday and we go out and get what we deserve.

Well fucking done United

A touch harsh on Norwood - by far his best game since the break. Felt he calmed us down immeasurably when we won the ball back when under the cosh a bit. Worthy of at least a 7/10 for me.

I get that, but he loses a full point for not having control given the card he'd just got had just been put back in the ref's pocket and he is taking a look at Moura and then leading into an aerial challenge with his elbow. That is, in fact, a straight red.

Very lucky to stay on and if we are down to ten, then weare hanging on for the draw rather than putting a pretty pallid Spurs to the sword

I was amazed VAR didn’t look at that.

I wouldn't say Egan had kane in his back pocket when Kane scored, and had a goal harshly disallowed.

"baffle oppositions with his brazen capability"

Classic one liner Pomp. Worth the read for that alone.

I fucking love him. He wins it, and instead of looking up and pumping it forward, he drifts into space, pushes through the gap (as the players are thinking 'where's he fucking going?' and looking round to see who is jockeying or marshalling) and suddenly he is 5m from their penalty area and sliding Baldock a pass or looking for the cross into the front two.

Player of the season for me.

I’d agree with most of that apart from I thought it was Hendo’s worst performance for us so far , a 5 at best. Also Norwood was not at his best but still deserved at least a 7. UTB

Somehow I reasoned that Bash might just be one of the first casualties from our rise to the Premier League.

He can be clumsy and slow, whilst very fit and athletic I would not say he was a cultured footballer. He has made up for these shortcomings to my mind with heart, desire and a will to always put in 100%.

He has to be fans favourite and a good shout for player of the year.

Was a very solid performance, still seemed to make a few mental errors that we got lucky to not be punished more on imo.

I don't agree with their goal being chalked off but you know what fuck em, that's the rule so tough fucking shit, at least the decision was technically correct and it wasn't VAR being a cunt.

Was happy with the performance given how we had lost Fleck again, Osborne filled the hole with a very solid display, though I was surprised we didn't see Freeman in, I imagine he will be gone soon.

I'll say it again, I'm erect after that

Basham is amazing. At times he looked ordinary and too limited for League One. Now he's a driving force in a system that's surprised the football world - at the highest level. He's great offensively and defensively. I can't think of a player who's made as effective use of his ability as him.

I thought Hendo should have done better with the Kane VAR non-goal

Quote of the year for me that. Brilliant!!!! ;)

Luke Freeman was injured - not on bench

Took us 5 games but tonight was back up to pre restart performances.. thought we were excellent tonight & built off the back of Sunday’s performance & got back to the habits that got up there in the first place...played with higher tempo , moved ball a quicker , pressed ball well out of possession , two wing backs got forward , midfield got their bite back .. 3 well worked goals .. quality stuff tonight lads hope we can maintain that level of performance now on the run in
