Not a clue. Maybe someone from Europe but hopefully better than Verrips.

Etheridge would be the one for me, Cardiff have already got Smithies who is a perfectly competent Championship keeper already.

Nathan Etheridge’s contract expires this time next year. Could probably be bought for less than his usual value – I’ve always been impressed by him, and 30 is nothing for a keeper.

Got 10 clean sheets for Cardiff, not too shabby. Would also avoid any language barrier.

I'd like us to get him if he's available on the cheap, but still have a go at getting Henderson back on loan because I want my cake and eat it.

That would make us very strong in the GK department.

I'm not sure about the clamouring for Ramsdale. I don't see what the hype is about.

Krul from would be about the best available Decent keeper in our price range and wage structure.

I know he can come across as a bit of a twat, but when he’s our twat I don’t mind. Plus it would really annoy the Norwich fans if one of their favourites signed for us..

Think I was picturing the NE initials for a player in the Championship and blended his name for a minute with Nathan Ellington (who, to be clear, we should not sign).

We’ve not had a good experienced keeper in their 30s for quite a while, and I’d like at least one of our 3 to be that. Had Foster not signed a new deal, he’d have been ideal. I said it last summer, but Andy Lonergan would still be a better backup option than the current keepers, and is available on a free again...

If it's not going to be Henderson I really think we need to pursue Etheridge hard, especially if he's out of contract. I think a few Premier League clubs will chase him this summer. Reportedly paying £55k of Henderson's £70k weekly wages so we could certainly afford him.

Edit: His Cardiff contract runs until 2021, so we'd have to pay a bit.
