Watch Genk v Liverpool. A player doesn’t turn that good to that bad.

If this isn't a wind up, can you let us know what was encouraging? He might come good next season, but at the moment he is a passenger and cannot keep up with the pace of the game.

We're not Genk, and he doesn't play for Genk anymore.
That eather means he's struggling to adapt, or he's not suited to our play, eather way, he's not good enough yet.

You can watch Stevens in the ‘here and now’ and you’d be saying how is he playing at this level?

You don’t put in a good performance in the champions league against the European champions and best team in the world, on top of being scouted by every top team in Europe if you’re a not good player

Possibly both. But he’s been in the wrong position since he came, so why did we sign him?

It took Fabinho a season to adjust but at least he was able to play CDM when he did

Can't head, can't tackle, very slow......sure

we'd be better with McBurnie playing there.

And Berge must just be a 1 trick pony??
Don't get me wrong, he's playing at a high level for a reason, I think a preseason will help, but he needs to bulk up, toughen up, and speed up, and hit the ground running next season.
 
Don't think nobody knows how good he is..but he,s certainly showing how bad he is at the moment..has he got a tackle in him..you know...one with a bit of..I,m here let,s have it..cos I certainly ain't seen it..

Obviously I’m not referring to just one game to suggesting a player is good. There’s a reason he’s playing in the CL in the first place

I’m guessing you thought Michael Higdon was the answer to all our problems at the time. What have you made of Berge’s performances so far then generally? Since I’m so thick.

I've defended Genk in another thread.....

But he was playing for a poor side by CL standards.
