I know lunny is very 2 footed but he is predominantly right footed, surely L. Freeman if fleck is out? Played very well when he's had a chance this season.

If so Robinson has come from nowhere really, I would always say Enda at LCB and Osborn at LWB if JOC out.....might be a height thing, Villa are quite a big side....

Robinson was signed as JOCs backup. If you put Stevens at LCB we're missing 2 of our back 5 because he'll be out of position.

Hopefully it's all cobblers and JOC is fine, but Stevens is too important down the left to compromise that job imo if we have another left sided CB on the books.

Don't see Enda as being out of position at all, he's a natural left sides defender and has played in that position plenty of times before...either way, I hope JOC is fit.....he was quite clearly fine in the "inside Shirecliffe" video released 4 days ago...

Possibly so but I’m not on Facebook. Let’s hope all is well and Fleck and JOC are fit. Robinson was brought in to be cover for JOC so I would personally prefer a straight swap rather than a whole shuffle but we will find out at 5pm. Nowt we can do either way.

You can't move Stephen's if JOC and Fleck are out as that's our entire left side gone. I'm dubious about Robinson tbh but we're playing a team who aren't exactly strong upfront. I'd play Osborn in midfield. Makes it easier to move round if we have to.

I hope that a Beattie flu pandemic is not doing the rounds at Shirecliffe or that both players have gone all “Lyle Taylor” due to an imminent transfer deal being done .

Robinson was brought in as 2nd choice LCB so makes sense to only weaken 1 position and not 2.

I was impressed with Osborn when he played just before lockdown in the LWB role, so I wouldn't have any issue if he came in.

Not saying he isn't the best LWB but I don't see us necessarily being weaker with Enda at LCB, he's as defensively good as JOC, maybe not in the air but otherwise.

If we've still got a LWB and left footed LCM, we still have good crossing options.

Retsos could get forward to support without crossing, and probably do that at least as well as Robinson.

I don't think it would be a major adjustment, and in any case would be worth it if Retsos is as good as we think he is.

It's also the biggest chance we can expect to get a good look at him with a view to signing him permanently.
