Line-Up vs Villa

Recon line up will be same as last game played baring injuries, seems the norm from Chris Wilder. I wouldn't argue with that, unusual times. UTB.

I haven't seen the pictures of him at the protest but if he stayed the recommended 2m away from other protesters why would that be borderline breach of contract?

We're talking about an 11 from 14 probable starters and another half dozen we wouldn't be unhappy to come on, I'm happy with the line up.

Berge has undoubted talent but Lunny is the better in that right sided central midfield for me. Sander needs to get up to speed and is for next season. IMO.
Did you ever think you'd say or write a 22m or whatever it was signing is for NEXT season. Great times init mate.

However it finishes, we know what league we'll be playing in 'next' season

Given Wilder's concerns about the pace of play based on results of the Bundesliga I would start Sharp and Mousset. The former brings energy and the latter some real speed.

It's probably been said but it's a bit rich seeing Mings protesting these things when he has his own penchant for violence.

Sharp certain starter for me based on his good form before the break and the not do insignificant fact that he bagged a hat trick there last season. Never underestimate the physiological factor in these things. The villa defence will be shitting tnemselves if billy starts

They've already admitted to fearing him more than COVID-19 so he has to start

After watching the latest release form Shirecliffe, Berge will figure in the first 3 matches, hes looking fit , the boys a big unit with a great footballing ability / brain , hes going to be a great player in years to come .

I thought Berge looked really classy, seems to move without effort and shield the ball really well.

Would love to see Moos really firing, that little bit of footage from the training session at The Lane got me all exited. In fairness though, we're blessed with an embarrassment of riches up front so any mix of Bill, Moose, McG and McB will do for me.

Villa's defence is susceptible to pace. At the Lane Moose ran them ragged for an hour with Mcg just behind him pulling the strings. We negated Villa's midfield because of our possession football. It will be interesting to see how much time we allow Grealish and McGinn on the ball without Mcg in the team because they were invisible in the 2-0 defeat.

Hendo
Stevens Retsos Egan Basham Baldock
Fleck Norwood JL7
Sharp McBurnie

I do hope Sharp starts for you; you never beat us when he scores at villa...(I have no idea actually and haven't checked).
He's only played for us twice at your ground and scoring in one of those games
