There's talk of 5 subs being allowed if football comes back, might help having another striker on the bench to add a presence. For what it's worth, I rated Madine in the Championship. Shocked he didn't get a better move.

a) us, because we’ve registered the squad already
b) anyone else, because he can’t move clubs till the window reopens

At a guess and if true, and given League 1 football isn’t likely any time soon, he’s presumably just looking to use the facilities to keep his fitness up, as we’ve done for plenty of players we’ve no intention signing.

By all accounts he fitted in well last season with the squad whilst with us so if, big if, he has been up there I would hazard we’re just giving him an opportunity to train and keep his fitness up as can’t imagine L1 clubs are back in training as looks like they’re going down the PPG route.

I'd have thought due to isolation planning letting anyone not a club employee might not be a good idea.
