God's country ...... Rovrum!
People reports this morning that the boogy deal may be about to collapse over a contract row!

Anyone heard anything?

Also mentions that we want to bring both Kyles back on loan (wishful thinking rather than substance I would guess)

Must be asking for more than he was on at Barnsley.

Anyway I wouldnt be bothered if the deal collapsed.

Is this the same paper who claimed we were signing "irtl"' to replace Kenny?

don't think there will be much to the rumour, but if it was to collapse, then it's not the end of the world.

He's already trained with the squad, I don't think he would have done if he hadn't signed.

Could it be that Birch has moved the goalposts with Boggy now that Sharp has decided to stay and we are overloaded with strikers............................................?

I think it's just lazy journalism but I'd be very disappointed if Sharp's decision to stay means missing out on Bogdanović as I'd much prefer the latter.

Rather keep Sharp to be honest.

In my opinion Bogdanović is better than sharp in almost every aspect of the game and can match him for finishing.

Steady on pal. That opinion of yours could get you in trouble around these parts!;)

The only time he has been truly prolific is while playing in Malta.

Ey Up GC88, you got your vuvuzela's ready for the new season on Block A?

Is this another Rotherham Fact? Its not that I know any better as I don't have any friends in Rotherham, but how is Boggy better than Billy? Genuine question as I've never seen much of Boggy, although he did reasonably ok in the Goals Scored column... he was no match for Billy in that column and to be fair, both the Dingles and the Dongles were similar teams with the exception of Billy banging goals in...

So what does Boggy have that Billy doesn't

Do some research in future but for your benefit

in 49 (36 starts + 13 sub) games at barnsley he scored 19 goals giving him a goal ratio of 0.395 - 18 goals over a full season if he played every match.

matches in a season multiplied by goal ratio in the format ive posted it. 39 goals in 100 games averaged out.

comprende?

No.... because its not fact. I know you're normally so factual in your posts

He didn't play every game of the season... So you can't fudge his stats to suit...

Extrapolating the ratio over a full season sounds reasonable though, no?

I don't think I've done anything wrong with his stats he's made 49 apps in total over 1.5 seasons(equivalent to just over a seasons worth of league games) and he's scored 19 goals in all competitions.

In my opinion that is very close to being prolifc and when you look at the other qualities he has, he could be a great addition although realistically he'll have to work hard to make the team.
