Plain black on the back and black and white striped sleeves? :loopy::nono:
can someone point me out the bit in the article where it says that is the new away kit ive read it a few times now and cant see it

maybe its because the companys slogo is
'legal advice in black and white'
but im sure someone can point out the missing ifo for me as im sure no one would just complain for no good reason

Found a picture of a Kennedys (new sponsor) partner with new away kit.

I haven't even read the article but what else could it be? Why would we use anything else or have a shirt specially made?

why would they have to have a shirt especially made?,its our old away kit

some people are going to feel a bit daft when it turns out we havent copied the away kit of 4 seasons ago

Could be our new away kit....as a little bit of digging brings you the Macron Essen Kit Template..

That's not the new away shirt and the home kit stripes continue down the back no block for the number.

I've told you its black with red pin stripe, 3rd kit is grey/silver.

So a club of great tradition and standing is going to end up with a kit any old Sunday league team could buy.......................class United, well done.

Please explain or are you just making stuff up now to have a go?

I don't understand that's not one of our kits for next season. The away kit is black with a red pinstripe and the 3rd kit is grey/silver.

So the question is why are you slagging off the club for the kit when you don't have a clue? Genuine question. Why would you do that?

The kit you speak of had a plain white back! Thats plain black

FB - while I'm not slagging anything off the evidence that the away kit is black and white is stronger than a forum poster's assertion that it's black with red pinstripes simply because there is a photo of said kit being held by a club official. I've not reason to doubt you, in fact I hope you're spot on as yours sounds much better than the cheap one we can see above, but evidence does suggest otherwise. And as to Judge's point about it being an old away kit - I can't see a company (of lawyers no less) being happy having their sponsorship announced on an out-of-date shirt.

Well then, let all jump on the back of our club for making a decision they haven't made. I'm sure everyone who laid into the club for this nonsense will offer an honest and heartfelt apology after the kits are released.

All aboard the "I'll do anything to attack our club" express !!!

I was in the club shop on Saturday and asked about the new kit.

The information was sketchy to say the least.

1st kit released mid July 2nd kit to be released end July/ early August.... they had no idea what the look like and no idea which will be launched first! Not wanting to jump on express train but it would be nice to have a little bit of clarity on this...

Last seasons kit(s) reduced to a tenner now though!

Could it be that the shirt seen on the official website is the away shirt from the 06/07 Premier Season  just my humble opinion like.

No...

The shirt from 06/07 had a plain white back. The shirt in the picture has a plain black back. Please see this answer twice above

Maybe the Club forgot we had a shop selling Blades shirts and they sent the YTS lad to Decathlon to get a shirt and stuck a badge on the back of it...

As has been said oh farty one the evidence points to more chance of it being the black and white striped effort then your black and red pinstripe & silver/grey suggestion. Unless you know that for a "fact" of course................and if we end up with a kit that is available to any Sunday League team, (as the evidence so far suggests) then I think it's a very poor show.

The article with the picture refers to a sponsorship for the Kop. The firms motto is "legal advice in black and white" and so the picture is a made up logo on a made up shirt (probably bought in from Decathlon).

We've got Kevin Blackwell as our manager for fucks sake. Last thing to get upset about is having a crap shirt.

I've told you its a fact, you choose not to believe it, which is fair enough.
However if you are wrong, can we expect that aforementioned sincere apology?

I'll gladly apologise to one and all if I am wrong, although I suppose I'm not attacking the club for the hell of it and without any real evidence.

Home kit will be 7 stripes probably with a black collar.
Away kit is black with a red pin stripe, red panel under arms and red shorts.
Third kit is Grey/Silver.

Sorry Bob but I missed the part where you said it was fact!

If it is I apologise but come-on, United aren't exactly strangers to doing things on the cheap.....

My mate works at the lane and says he's not seen them but has heard the away is very similar to Evertons away last season although it has red pinstripes instead of pink. So i think i believe Bob here

That would be pretty good. Its made by Macron though so the quality will be horrendous.

The quality is no better with any of the major manufactures plus they take over the whole gig, and we pay them for the privilege while they take another cut from the backend after a sale.
Plus with the big names you do just get the standard sunday league kit, you don't get to make decisions about it like we have on these kits.

True enough - those complaining about United having an off the peg Sunday league team kit because they're supplied by Macron should look at Peterborough's new kit. It's an Adidas kit and whiltst I think it actually looks quite good, it's a bog standard design and makes them look like Chelsea. For further reading see also any of this seasons Nike or Puma kits supplied to clubs outide of the Premiership.

To be honest I'd rather have the bog-standard design and have and Adidas/Nike kit for the quality rather than the garbage that Macron pumped out last year.

Firstly that is quite funny after your rant about us having a off the peg kit.

Secondly the quality isn't significantly superior if you compare the new Wednesday and United shirts when they are released.

Off the peg Caen shirt....

Off the peg Crystal Palace shirt....

I'd love us to have Nike or Adidas but they have standardised their shirts now which makes it rubbish.

it's good to have a unique shirt.
