Can someone tell me why they have not been tested ffs , they either have got it or haven`t , get them tested , a premiership club with millions of pounds its own doctor and medical staff , get them tested and stop the hype , fucking useless .

Leicester played Aston Villa on Monday and are due to face Watford at the weekend. Leicester later released a statement saying: "In recent days, all three players presented with extremely mild illness and were advised by club medical staff, consistent with current government guidance.

"All three players were subsequently advised by NHS 111 that their symptoms were consistent with common seasonal illness and that a seven-day period of self-isolation was appropriate as a precaution. There was no recommendation that further testing would be necessary. The club is in regular contact with the relevant players, whose symptoms remain mild and self-manageable."

Testing is currently only available on the NHS carried out at designated Public Health England labs. No private testing is available in the UK. So not so fucking useless.

Yep, Sky News reported earlier that despite the three players self isolating they had no plans to test them or any of the players or staff at Leicester City, I mean just WTF.
 
Three, presumably healthy, young, professional sportsmen have presented with mild, manageable symptoms of a common winter disease. Their club have obviously reported this fact, and been advised to self isolate.
Surely this is just common sense. It prevents low risk candidates from jumping the queue, ahead of more vulnerable individuals, who might be a close friend or relative of yours. They will not be taking up test places, that are currently in short supply.
Please allow common sense to prevail, and don’t allow your lack of perspective to disrupt the health services, which are currently coping under serious pressure from a virus that is now deemed to be at pandemic status.

On a serious note I don't like the way Leicester have played this.

If they are down with seasonal flu, that's just too bad and if those players are unfit to play you still fulfill the fixture, just like with injuries.

They seem to have nicely tagged losing three players into the COVI19 debate with a view to playing when they have more fit players. Or am I being cynical?
