No excuses. Aled up on a train. Done some work in Wrexham, change at Chester and through Crewe. Got thinking about past visits.

So how many teams in the Vanarama have we played (and I didn’t see the Chester ground?) Counted ten. But some Polish beer may affect my addition skills.

Bottom line is we’ve come a long way in not a long time.

And on Saturday I will mull that one over em route to a ground that I don’t think has seen less than second division football for a long while.

The joys of aged eyes made even older by a random selection of five different (and very enjoyable) cans of Polish beer, only thing in common is I can’t pronounce any of em.

The quick pint in Parvel (sic) yard at Kings Cross. Made even quicker by prices. No pint stronger than 5% no price cheaper than £5,10. Even my Southern accustomed eyes wattered..

Anyhow, is it ten teams in (Carlos) Vanarama that we no longer have the joys of visiting?
