Dont get why people get so sensitive about things. Our away fans are very very average and were absolutely silent tonight. Numbers wise, been brilliant this year but so it should be, I'm not saying other clubs are better, most of the country are shite, that's how it is these days. Quite strange how much Reading fans put into the game to be honest but fair play to them. Obviously planned to sell out the bit next to our fans and make an atmosphere which they did. They certainly don't usually do what they did tonight.

Strange bunch indeed. EalingBlade and myself were as close to them as it was possible to be and they seemed obsessed with making 'fat' motions, as well as one who seemed to think he was hurting my feelings by pointing out my nose. I’d hazard a guess that most of the noise heard on tv was from the section of home fans behind the net and probably mistaken as noise from the away end. We were quiet and I’ve never heard noise at that stadium anywhere close to what they created tonight. It was full of kids but credit to them for creating an Away game type atmosphere for themselves.

The one in the red was the one who was giving Hendo the most grief with his "Paedo" chants. I'm a peace loving hippy on the whole but I really hope he got chinned outside as well. As I pointed out at the time, he must be especially thick because he was the only one wearing red so he stood out like a sore gormless twat.

Sure enough, as we headed to the buses back into town after the match, I spotted him coming out of the ground and heading in the direction of the Blades coaches. Oh I hope so, I really hope so.

As a side issue, is it in any way illegal to chant "Paedo" at England's number one? The other crime they committed was to chant that he was "just a shit Jordan Pickford."

The Madejski is everything a modern football ground should be. Accessible, good facilities, good food kiosks and kids activities outside, plenty of leg room, every seat a good view no matter how short/tall, good accoustics.

Why were they singing Blades songs? I did only watch it on tv but we did sound fairly loud, particularly early on and late on. As for them, that fkin drum was so annoying.

Just average from the Blades. It helped that the Reading children were winding Blades up so that lifted it in patches.
Berge's song seems to have died a death. Not just because he's not lighting it up, it just seems impossible to get it going the same as at Palace.
