If we could pay him £500 a week and a goal bonus I'd consider it, probably not fit, interested or willing to play for less than £50k a week though.

1. If we signed him on a pay as you play basis, possibly with a goal bonus, it would cost us very little

Offer the entire team a win bonus by all means, but if individual players are on a goal bonus, surely the temptation is always going to be to have a shot on goal instead of passing to a teammate in a better position.
