Time to bring in open timing like in rugby, link the scoreboard to the refs watch, stop the clock for injuries and when there is blatant time wasting, when 90 minutes is up the next time the ball goes out of play the game is over.

What irked me was their player being down for 5 minutes and then in injury time McBurnie had to go off for the throw-in to receive treatment meaning we had to do without him in the box. It’s almost like the officials don’t understand the concept of injury time.

I'm just saying that most of what ordinarily creates a lot of the stoppage time didn't happen, I'm not saying that Brighton weren't wasting a load. I'd have only guessed four minutes

I thought the ref was pretty good today but the aspect that pissed me off was that the VAR checks on WWF going on at every corner seems to have been abandoned. Berge was clamped and wrestled to a ridiculous degree
