Getting abit annoying really.

But caveating, I do understand we're in a more than amazing position ....

However, Our forward line aren't doing the bits we need them to do. Too many fans blinkered about their hard work when even Wilder said that's the minimum we can expect. The amount of crosses we ping in is ridiculous for no return.

Got pelters on here over McGoldrick lack of goals with folk telling me we wouldn't be where we are without him...but I was proven correct, we can work without him but our forward line hasn't been great at all. They've been saved by our midfield and our fucking full backs.

They need to up their game beyond huff and puff.

We can work without him, but we don’t play as well.

There’s only so long that you can still get results with poorer performances - not saying we are playing badly at all but we are better with McG in the side

I thought McBurnie was excellent today except for that miss late in the 2nd half ... which maybe proves your point!

McBurnie had a bit of a mare and Sharp should have done better with his earlier chance. But..... we didn't create too many clear cut chances anyway.

I think mcburnie played the role of dropping back and creating and linking everything up very well today and was my man of the match. That wasn't the problem we needed some one in front of him to score mcgoldrick wasn't that person and never was going to be was the wrong sub for me. Sharp had a bit of a off day and didn't make anything happen he got better for the ten min spell just before he come off. Moose should have been on for sharp today.

It’s an area where will will have to spend a bit in the summer that’s for sure

McBurnie was superb in his all-round play today and I thought Sharp was very good, too. Both missed big chances, especially Oli—who also forced their keeper into two good saves. I think the goals will come if he keeps getting into these good positions.

When you're starting sharp n Mcburnie up front you ain't gonna be winning games by 2 or 3 goals..they work hard but strikers are judged on goals..hopefully next season we can greatly improve that area..we have to...UTMB!

Most of the crosses end up hitting the defenders
Yeah the crosses were pretty poor ,as they usually are
I know that sounds overly critical but we just seem to chuck it in ,low whipped crosses like the one mcburnie nearly scored from would have had them twisting blood

McBurnie puts that half chance away and this thread wouldn't exist.

I think a bit of perspective of where we are and where the majority of our squad have come from!

I think we had 3 clear chances in the first 15 minutes, we should have been at least one or two in front at this point, it is a reoccurring theme with us but we are what we are, it’s that simple, at this point we can be miffed /pissed off and I’m sure we will address this in the summer, but if we come across a 15-20 a year striker he won’t be staying with us for long anyway
So currently I’m happy and kinda of see the bigger picture and what a time for us to be in where we r worried that we aren’t scoring enough to break into the top 4/5 , I can live with that ⚔️⚔️⚔️

On this season's showing I would not be surprised to see Robinson & Moussett depart [if there are takers]! Particularly if RZ shows anything like.

Yes I know LM has scored 4 or 5, but I do wonder whether he adds enough to a CW team & his work ethic. Against Bournemouth apart from an initial run & the pass to JL he just looked disinterested. I don't go for the 'lack of pre season' argument with him, there are times when he does not put the effort in. I cannot see him being a regular starter even if he stays, which is about the situation he found himself in at Bournemouth.

We need a goal scorer & BS cannot do it forever, but at least he puts 90 minutes in & does not disappear from games. Looking at all the big money Strikers signed into the PL this season no one has had much impact [Wesley, Haller. Joleinton, Maupay, McBurnie, Pepe, Perez,], in fact 4 are playing for bottom 7 clubs!

Not saying we should sell LM, but I cannot see him being a regular 70-90 minute starter, & to get a proven [whatever that is, 12+ goals per season?] PL scorer is very difficult without paying astronomical fees & wages.

No one was scoring from them awful pings into the box.
Honestly who thinks chipping the ball into the box with that wind was a good idea, and have you seen the size of their defenders, it was just terrible tactics from us today, we clearly played to their strengths and not our own.
Not accepting the McGoldrick criticism at all, McGoldrick was great when he came on, he should be back into the first 11 next game no question.
