Admitedly my memory is sketchy of that game, but I can't remember feeling particularly outraged, more that we brought on our own issues and that Burnley thoroughly deserved to win.

He’s certainly improved with age. I’d say he was one of the better PL refs these days.

You had to trigger me didn’t you. That fucking quivering, rabbit in the headlights, big fanny said nothing pre match that was of any use whatsoever and demonstrated beyond any doubt that he had no leadership skills whatsoever.

Mike Dean has been one of the best refs for years.

As fans we all get frustrated and annoyed when certain decisions go against our team but it never ceases to amaze me how unreasonable and petty some fans are over even innocuous decisions in games.

All refs make mistakes and have some bad games.

It's hilarious how some of our fans will berate a ref for a 50/50 decision but get so upset if someone criticises one of our players for making a silly mistake or error.

Warnock and Blackwell were utterly thick and stupid for treating refs like they did. I love how Wilder has behaved in contrast.

I never liked how Ferguson and his team treated refs, it was often an utter disgrace, but rightly or wrongly you understood how he tried to make the most of their stature.

Dean has a personality and is undoubtedly a good ref.
