It wouldn't surprise me and he would keep them up if they were to get a points deduction. It's easy money for him in the Championship.

I thought someone said he had retired for good though?

Would be very disappointed in Warnock if he took that job (if offered).
Ok he 's a professional but you have to draw a line somewhere..
It would be close to treason and we know what happens to them.😎😃😉
 
Warnocks rants when he was with us turned both officials and pundits against us, and it’s taken years to overcome that. I’d love him to do the same at the sty, and if he did have some success no doubt he’d be off at the first opportunity in the same way Bruce did.

Warnock was on Talksport a few weeks ago saying how he’d love to be back in the game.....said he really misses the banter working with players day to day.
He said he’d consider any level (including league 2) as long as it’s the right club.
His wife Sharon was ill last year but her health has improved and he said she has given him the green light to return to management.

The radio presenter even said he’d managed 1379 games....so only needs to be manager for 21 more games on order to break the 1400 barrier.

It’s a forum full of us know nowts so, just go with the banter, prod back and have some fun at their expense. I’m not precious about you posting in Blades chat because it gives you an opportunity to tek the piss.
biggest disappointment is if you passed up the opportunity to do so 😁👍🏻
 
He’d probably take the job just to piss Megson off.

in all seriousness if he did take it he’d have to have instantaneous and continued success, any drop off in form even for a couple of weeks and the fans would pile in on him cos of the Blades connection, just as ours did on Wilson.

Indeed. If he actually wanted to go through with that too, making it his actual last job before retirement would be the best way to do it. Maybe he’d go a bit wild with his comments too: “to be honest, these aren’t really the best set of lads I’ve managed, and I’m not really sure I’d rank the fans in my top 5 either”
