Sounds like Gosling is trying to do the typical footballer thing that Warnock talked about in his documentary years ago “footballers will blame anyone but themselves”

I don’t quite get what Gosling is on about with the other comments, but Bournemouth are in the relegation zone and they should be battling for every point possible, not rolling around on the floor

I don’t know why Eddie Howe allows his players to talk like this. Wilder wouldn’t allow his players to make such comments to the press

It’ll be fascinating to see whether this has a negative effect on 50/50 decisions awarded them by both the officials on the pitch and VAR. I can’t imagine they’ll be too chuffed at this sort of stuff being made public by Gosling. I doubt at any rate if the effect will be a positive one.

I have to say although I agreed with Deadbats assessment of how poor Moss was on Sunday if he's told them to get on with the game and stop whinging he's gone up in my estimation. Gosling was the one who lit CW's fuse on Sunday, his non contact forward flip being the final straw for CW.

Note the difference in class. Howe it seems is orchestrating this through his players rather than have the balls to come out and say it for fear of getting a charge against him. CW post match alludes to things that have gone on that annoyed him but says he will have to get used to it without making reference to Bmths pay acting. CW then goes onto praise Bmouth manager and players.

They really are poor losers. Its taken them three days to think this excuse up why didn't Howe refer to it after the game. If they've complained to Riley they are going to get nowhere and its likely officials will have marked their cards for future games.

I am sure when those players were surrounding the referee after each of the diving swan impressions, only one of them spoke and said "Excuse me Mr Moss, sir, but I think that was foul and he never attempted to influence you into making a decision our way. Please will you give the foul, sir."

Setting aside Moss’s performance on Sunday, I think that current referee’s attitudes towards physical contact in the game falls somewhere on a spectrum between -
Anthony Taylor - merest touch + a fall = a foul
Jon Moss - significant inappropriate contact = a foul

I’ve always found more enjoyment watching Jon Moss games than Anthony Taylor games.
More chance of a bit of institutional bullying and rotational fouling.

Mark Halsey has just been on Talksport and that‘s exactly what he said.

He mentioned that he could come up with all sorts of stories about the stuff players have said to him on the pitch and he could name names
but he realises it’s an emotional game and players say stuff they might later regret.

He said the normal protocol is if players have so to say then they meet the manager after the match.
Halsey said he once sent off John Terry and Terry spoke with him a few minutes after the match about the decision.

Grealish has more backbone than the entire Bournemouth team put together. He whinges like a bastard on the pitch, but to be fair gets the crap kicked out of him, but as soon as the whistle goes he's a professional. If it’s true that Moss made comments along the lines alleged, then it strikes me that, if the Bournemouth players had anything whatsoever about them, it should have fired them up to get a result.

Look how Wilder and our players use negativity from outsiders, as motivation to continually prove people wrong.
