I put a podcast on with headphones and sit playing Fifa on my sons Switch to drown out Love Island, I could sit in the front room and watch something else but I feel I'm making a point if I have headphones on in the back room!

Yeah. Headphones on for me - normally read a book while that shite is on or play music and browse this forum. But tonight it’s going to be Beans and Chips i.e. Roygbiv (with his best German porn shop owner impersonation).

Regards the McGoldrick discussion before any of you gave your opinion.

My answer would be quite similar to Beans.
We do miss McGoldrick regards playing style...we play some lovely football with McGoldrick.
Without McGoldrick we tend to go more direct and look more disjointed.

However saying that we‘re still gradually becoming effective without McBurnie.
Think it’s because McBurnie and Sharp didn’t look up to PL standard in early games.
However in recent matches both have looked up to standard and pretty dangerous.....their off the ball work and workrate has been fantastic.
Also Mousett does look effective when he comes on for the last 20 minutes.

So although I’m a big fan of McGoldrick we seem to have slowly adapted to not having him....so it’s no longer desperate to see him back.
Think McBurnie and Sharp are showing enough to deserve to keep their places.

If Didsy had been scoring regularly (or at all) we would have missed him. As it is, I miss his style of play but I like goals more.

Good show as usual Ben......but where's Blade's Analytics these days? Roy's input is most welcome, he's a Blade through and through, but BA's contributions added a different take on the team and it's performance. Any chance we'll hear from BA soon?

Re. Lunny's goal, Stevens contribution from accepting the throw-in, threading a pinpoint pass to Moose, and then the combination of Moose's clever pass and Lunny's excellent finish...I'm a huge fan of Stevens and his technical skills, so from nothing we were suddenly at B'mouth's throat, and all because of Stevens' presence of mind as he caught B'mouth on the back foot, but to no avail as we sent the Cherries packing with nothing to show for their playacting.

I think it was me who brought up that our standard of pass and move has dropped off these last few games. And i thought that was down to McG not playing. We seem to be scraping results at the moment. While its still great, and maybe it is also the oposition trying to stop us from playing.I still feel the quality of our play has dropped abit. We seem to be playing less triangles and more direct. But whatever, still loving this season. Amazing that we are already safe. Job done, and we can sit back and relax and enjoy the last games of the season.

Whilst listening to this week’s Tifo I noticed there’s a lot of team-specific podcasts being released and promoted under the Athletic umbrella (even crap teams like Norwich and Watford).
Would be cool if you guys got this sort of backing. Is all The Athletic stuff produced by proper journos or is there some fan-produced content that they’ve taken under their wing?

He's the busiest man in football after getting a job with Peterborough so you'll just have to do with me slagging Billy Sharp off , not being able to pronounce our players names and constantly refering to The Premier League as The Premiership.

Unfortunately as Roy says he's a tricky fella to get hold of these days, working his backside off doing a full-time job as well his Peterborough stuff (and the rest I think).

For me with McGoldrick, I'd much rather play the football we do with him in the team, however we are becoming effective at playing the other way, much like last season at the same time of the season. We're still entertaining enough, the only problem is that we'll soon be referred to as cloggers again if we carry on.
