Ernest Needham was a West Ham fan. My best mate's dad's mormon carer is a grave robber and he found a pair of cockney walking braces in his coffin.

While we're at it - can someone confirm Captain Blades back story? Not sold on his Bladiness neither...

My Grandad (93 years a blade! God Bless him - he'd be loving the current season if still alive today) used to hate Captain Blade with a vengeance, he never swore but he always used to say why do they get that fool coming out waving his sword about. Bassett era was it introduced ? Once when we were outside in the car park Captain Blade was there not sure why just pottering about and my Grandad was trying to get past him and Captain Blade held out a hand to say let me help you my Grandad stuck two fingers up, blew a raspberry and wacked him with his walking stick. Very funny.

Tibetan Mastiff.jpg Here's your actual BIG dog and keeping on subject, lets have experienced up and coming defenders not older players adding to their pension United have been there before and we've got one already. Tibetan Mastiff the dog. Told me he was a Blade, believed him and when he came in the house he sat where he wanted.

The pitch is technically still there, but not somewhere you'd want to play now.
Sad to hear that. I live away now but me and my mates from pitsmoor would go and play against the sharrow lads on that pitch once or twice a week. Remember sundays and the mosque would close at 7 ish and we'd play against the lads from there, great days

That’s a lion. Or a bear with a perm.

What did your Grandad think of CB's mate,
Mr Cutler? Short lived character, probably let go when the police report came back.

Did you ever kick a ball at an unsuspecting female member of Kyle's family?

His sister did used to knock about whilst we played football. Can't remember smashing a ball at her skull though.

Took a few years to hone the technique I guess... He wasted his time getting a pro deal while you continued to train for that golden moment at Goals?

Leeds mug.

I'm a humble man, but I think we all know who's forged the better football career for themselves.

It's an art form killing an innocent bystander with a football.

Golden glove, golden boot, golden safety helmet.

I went to school with Jarvis cocker and know for a fact he’s a blade I speak on the phone with him nearly every night and he still laughs when people say he supports Wednesday he also loves a bit of cricket.

I’ve never met Jarvis I just made that up to put on forum coz I’m not getting no attention from mummy and daddy.

what a sad pig Blad is

Must be his Mrs family because it not Kyle's who will rib him. I know Kyle very well having gone to school with him and being brought up with him and non of his family were Blades. Non of his family were bothered about United, his Dad was a massive Leeds fan and so was Kyle. Always surprises me when he says he is a Blade because I know he's not. He obviously has fond memories of us as do every player that comes through the academy and makes the first team but he doesn't support us no matter what he says. Been to the odd game over the years that is because of friends but other than that neither him or his famly ever attend games or have an interest in us. Harry MaGuire has been back to more Blades game and he was a Wednesday fan as a kid. But fair play to Kyle, he is not daft and is working his ticket back to us at some point. Just hope he still has speed when he does.
and phil jagielka was/is a man city fan... even if kyle had a soft spot for Leeds and grew up backing them, it doesn't really matter, i'm sure that allegiances change when you are a footy player, and i reckon a good few of them support more than one team or at least have soft spots for different teams

I bet Carlton knows Jarvis Cockers Mum and doesnt even realise. My daughter knows her from going to the church hall in Carlton ,but you would never know ,she doesnt walk about singing Lets all meet up in the year 2000 ,or greasy chip butty to be honest.

Everyone’s favourite supporting actor/entertainer/director/falldownandgetstraightbackupandrunarounder was a Leeds fan. If it’s good enough for monty, it’s good enough for walker.
