I have my stab vest and helmet on, here goes. Freeman is as good if not better IMO. Freeman is more dynamic and with 20 games on the trot he would be better. Don't get me wrong, Fleck has been v good so far but he is defo not irreplaceable.
Lundstram, on the other hand, has started to believe his own hype. I have always supported Lundstram and said he would be a success in the PL but he needs to knuckle down and do a whole season before he starts demanding gold.

Alreet KevNot in the last year of his contract he isn't. Don't think we'd get more than 20 in the summer. If he's on a 4 year deal, then yes, but he isn't.
Fleck has been the player of the season for me so barring something dramatic I don't see him being crap in a matter of 4 games.Agree with Wilder.
If Fleck thinks he can advance his career elsewhere...then he’s free to leave.
I would think Wilder already has replacements line up.
This thread reminds me of the Lunny thread....2 months ago he was worth 30 million and £60K a week contract was cheap.
Now Lunny’s not looking the same player.....no way should we make Fleck our highest paid player.
Its typical of most fans....Fleck scores and he’s brilliant....wait a few matches when he doesn’t score or assist and all of a sudden he’s crap.
I personally think a lot of Fleck's 'legend' comes from having O'Connell and particularly Stevens behind him. If Osborn were to replace Stevens I would like to see how great Fleck would be. I did say Fleck has been v good this season so far but I will hold fire before I call him a legend.I’ll say it again and I’ll keep saying it until people realise what the crack is. Only when Fleck leaves will he be really appreciated by some Blades fans, he’s irreplaceable unless we spend an absolute fortune.
Fleck is an absolute legend.

He makes Stevens and JOC the players they are. Just watch him closely next time, he sits in and knows when to cover for JOC and Stevens, knows when to drive forward and he’s brilliant, it’s people like you and Pinchy who for some reason doesn’t like him that needs to stop questioning and criticising our best players.I personally think a lot of Fleck's 'legend' comes from having O'Connell and particularly Stevens behind him. I agreeHe was £20m last season, got to be £30-35m now surely.
I have said he's very good. I do like him and I rate him very highly. I am also glad we have him and I would be gutted if he left. However, I believe if he were to leave we have a ready replacement. I also don't think he is so good that he can hold the club hostage, if indeed it is him that CW was referring to in his interview. He makes Stevens and JOC the players they are. It’s absolutely baffling the questions that get posed about Fleck, not only is he clever, he performs to his managers instructions immeasurably, he’s a managers dream.
The lad deserves it at the momentNew Fleck thread every time Fleck has a good game

Lundstram isn't coasting, he's out of steam, Mo Besic is certainly ready to come in and perhaps should've been brought in for a couple more games.Disagree about Freeman. I think he’s a real lightweight. Plenty of skill but couldn’t tackle a fish supper. As for Lundstram, totally agree. I think he’s coasting.
