I have my stab vest and helmet on, here goes. Freeman is as good if not better IMO. Freeman is more dynamic and with 20 games on the trot he would be better. Don't get me wrong, Fleck has been v good so far but he is defo not irreplaceable.
Lundstram, on the other hand, has started to believe his own hype. I have always supported Lundstram and said he would be a success in the PL but he needs to knuckle down and do a whole season before he starts demanding gold.

Freeman is a very good player. Hope he’s not too ticked off with not playing

Not in the last year of his contract he isn't. Don't think we'd get more than 20 in the summer. If he's on a 4 year deal, then yes, but he isn't.

If Fleck thinks he can advance his career elsewhere...then he’s free to leave.
I would think Wilder already has replacements line up.

This thread reminds me of the Lunny thread....2 months ago he was worth 30 million and £60K a week contract was cheap.
Now Lunny’s not looking the same player.....no way should we make Fleck our highest paid player.
Its typical of most fans....Fleck scores and he’s brilliant....wait a few matches when he doesn’t score or assist and all of a sudden he’s crap.

Fleck has been the player of the season for me so barring something dramatic I don't see him being crap in a matter of 4 games.

I have said he's very good. I do like him and I rate him very highly. I am also glad we have him and I would be gutted if he left. However, I believe if he were to leave we have a ready replacement. I also don't think he is so good that he can hold the club hostage, if indeed it is him that CW was referring to in his interview.
I don't need to stop questioning or criticising thank you. I am just as valid a judge as you. Football is all about opinions, isn't it?

Disagree about Freeman. I think he’s a real lightweight. Plenty of skill but couldn’t tackle a fish supper. As for Lundstram, totally agree. I think he’s coasting.

Lundstram isn't coasting, he's out of steam, Mo Besic is certainly ready to come in and perhaps should've been brought in for a couple more games.

L.Freeman needs a few games against teams where we can play a slightly different strategy to accommodate an attacking midfielder, we haven't really done that for a while and our big successes have come as a result of playing Lunny and Fleck slightly more advanced

As i said on Twitter, give Lunny a rest as he'll be needed later in the season.

The reality is that wages will have to raise going into next season. It comes with being in the PL. The board need to make sure they can manage this properly.

Obviously I hope they all sign, but he would disappoint me the most by refusing to sign

I hope he sits down and thinks about what CW has done for him and his profile by managing a side that has allowed him to flourish and bring success
