I still harbour a grudge from when Geary got cheated with our last few minute equalizer at their ground in the relegation season. This goes some way to trade off against that but tonight and the cup match do not make up for the Tevez cheating and media love in and bias they have had over the years...

Totally agree, it still bothers me too. Thought it was Kozluk though.

Karma's a fucking bitch. Assuming they don't go down, can we PLEASE wear VAR masks to the Dildodome next season?

I was waiting for the karmas a bitch bollocks comments.

We had 6 years in league 1. Wet Spam stayed in the prem more or less the whole time. We have gained 2 points tonight.
Where's the karma in that?!

Karma's not a bitch, its utter bollocks.

Having said that, couldn't have happened to a nicer club.

Nothing can make up for Tevez and the hell we endured afterwards. Although to be fair, the Tevez issue didn't relegate us, Hulses horror injury and overly negative tactics did!

agree with that west ham should've been docked points for Tevez, because as we all know £5.5m is pence to a football club & they would've paid it off with the £37m TV money they got for staying up so it was a pointless fine. but it was as much our fault because if had conceded 3 v villa or got at least a point v wigan. they we wouldn't be talking about this is & wigan would've been the ones relegated, maybe having all the legal issues with west ham

I'll never ever forget going down to that Billa game.

What was so disappointing and annoying was that their season was over and they were resting players. Yet we turned up and tried to park the bus, with Stead there upfront on his own. It was awful. Can you imagine Wilder ever doing that!

Contrast Besic's, Fleck's and Wilder's response to bad VAR decisions recently, with those of Rice and Moyes last night. And some say we are classless.

Both Moyes and Rice clearly didn't know about the rule changes (even The Times picked up on this, stating that they didn't appear to know about the rule changes when interviewed on Sky). They spent the post match interviews banging on about intent and it being accidental. Under the new rules, that is still handball when it happens in the build up to a goal.

It's pretty staggering that both manager and player don't know the current set of rules!

not a chance because wilder for all his positivity his greatest thing is keeping it tight. I think im right that the last time we have lost by 3 goals was middlesborough august 2018

I thought it strange that they appeared not to know the new rule. However, their response was still over the top, IMO. Wilder had as much, if not more, reason for complaint with the Didzy goal at Tottenham, what with margins and reset debate. He, despite this, still maintained his class and compsure. Fleck just said these things happen, we have to get on with it. Ditto Besic.
Moyes and Rice's response smacked of spoiled child.
If Rice's was not hand ball then neither was Henry's against Ireland. A point made on TV here. Of course both were stonewall handballs.
