Your "all too quiet " comment on your blog reminds of watching the second team out on Cup games. Is it because they are afraid of making mistakes if they push too hard?
Well. That would be down to the new regime. Lester & Hughes. They've brought new players in. But, I doubt it's "afraid". The old, discarded regime, were very vocal, always encouraging, always explaining. It is very very different now. I think yesterday was an off night. But, using all these players isn't helping the team gel & settle imho. Generally, Development players aren't afraid of mistakes. It matters less. They'll not be criticised strongly. Talent Through Trauma

I am fairly sure that he and Doherty went abroad - USA, I think - which is why they are back because their season has ended.
Doherty was on loan at Tampa Bay Rowdies, managed by Neill Collins

I make that over 40 players in just 17 U23 games this season. With the return last night of David Parky Parkhouse, Jordan Jordy Doherty & Oliver Oli Greaves. In a Full Blown Keeper Crisis, you'll want to know about Jordan Amissah an' all. And a trip down the Carrier Bag Firm memory lane, as a vocal coach encourages Brooksy - and it ain't Travis & David.
My Blog from the U Two Threes at home to Birmingham is available here

I'll also take the liberty to hijack my own thread & plug my Blog from the BornToBeFylde game. The beers I slugged included Lime, Ginger, Forced Rhubarb, Natural Cheesecake Extract (FFS), Saskatoon Berry, Maple Syrup, Mango, Vanilla, Lactose & Coconut as ingredients. Surely you'll want to get outside that lot.....

Good write ups on footy and beer, thanks as always.

I'm going out there with 121 different South Africa beer ticks already. But, I won't get much chance to lengthen that to 150. I'll have to see how it goes.
Cheap as chips innit

I drank castle or Windhoek draft tbf.

Therea a castle guiness rip off too, but its minging.

I wonder if that's Castle Milk Stout. Did some serious miles into that before the England v USA game in 2010.....
I'm OK with "lager". But I prefer stronger flavours. Stout suits me better. (Not Guinness though......)

Castle Milk Stout literally made me sick. Very sweet, even for a milk stout, and my body rejected it. Best stout I had out there was Black Tempest by Atlantic Storm Brewery in Cape Town.

My Stout/Porter winner in the 2015 Series was Long Mountain Brewery, Porter at 6%.
