Are you suggesting that anyone wanting us to go to Hillsborough and win is short sighted?
It is never "for the best" for Sheffield United to lose, never mind to lose to our rivals. Yes all results have a cause and effect, that long term effect may end up being turned around and becoming a more positive outlook, but that doesn't make the cause "the best thing to happen".
You speak about the life of our club, what is this going to be if every time someone takes a dislike to one individual it is hoped that we perform as badly as possible?
Who will be the right manager? how will we all know when he's here? how long will he have to prove he's the right one?
Some wanted a change from Warnock, a change from Robson and now a change from Blackwell, how long will it continue or how far does the wanting us to lose stretch?
Would you take us going out of business or being relegated year on year until you get your man?
If we won and battered them, would you be happy and give Blackwell credit for the win, or annoyed that he may have extended his stay?
Lot of questions in there Foxy.
Nope. Of course I'm not implying that. Don't twist my words. I want us to win at Hillsborough. Remember this is hypothetical. But I honestly believe that losing a few games and getting rid of Blackwell would have a positive medium to long term benefit for the club.
Are you seriously supporting Blackwell? This is not just the case of me not liking KB. We've had polls on forums etc, you can chat to Blades, listen to praise or grumble etc and it seems clear that the vast majortiy of Blades want rid of Blackwell. In that case it seems best for the club to get rid of him. (if you are still behind KB then there is no point in us debating, as this is at the heart of my argument).
The righ manager is someone who has the ability to rebuild the team. He would ideally bring some passion to the role and also have some tactical nouss. Not saying he has to be Morihno or Wenger, just get them playing a bit of football. We'll all have our opinions about how good he is, but you would expect most Blades to be happy with us signing him. How long? How long is a piece of string. If he cmomes out and asks for patience, instills some passion, makes the right signings and gets us playing a bit better then 2, or 3 seasons. Why not? It took Warnock time to build a squad.
Don't understand your next question, but most want a change from KB. Most wanted a change from Robbo and it happened.
Of course not. Don't be ridiculous. There is a huge difference between losing one game and the drastic cenarios you dreamed up.
Yes I'd give him credit. I don't hate him. I just think he is a poor manager. I thank him for what he did for the club (up to the end of last season). He did a good job for a while. I'd happlily swallow my words if he proved me wrong. When we win I give him credit (of he deserves it). I would do the same if he (by a miracle) was to get us promoted or whatever. I hope you're not catagorising me as a KB hater or knocker. I want rid of him because I think it is best for SUFC, not because it's a personal vendetta. People are always quick to judge and automatically assume that anyone who posts criticising Blackwell is anbother Micalijo.
