It's a hard life being a blade. In the last month we have a manager who has told us:

He can't wait for the season to finish
Seven players who played at Scunthorpe won't be here in a few weeks
8 players who played at newcastle won't be here in a few weeks
Jordan Stewart has played 11 times for us and he is not a left-back
People are ducking out of tackles, but that's the sort of players they are (good work signing/playing thee players)
A lot who are here, are here because that was all that was available...
to be where we are is a phenomenal achievement by the players, but some fans won't accept it.
It is a worse situation than when I was at Leeds
he "thought Warnock was supposed to be a blade" in an underhand attempt to prevent blades showing him up again by singing Warnock's name

He's also shrugged his shoulders at blades fans asking him to sort it out after a no show start at Doncaster.

We've had to watch our season die a torrid death, unsurprisingly for me given the way Blackwell has gone about morale building with above comments. We've picked up 7 points over the last 9 games which is undoubtedly relegation form and the majority of "football" we've been served this year has been abysmal. Our club feels like it has lost it's soul a little bit this year most likely because of the high player turnover and the fact our team and squad has been filled out with loan players. For me we also have/had too many players on our books who either aren't good enough and shouldn't have been signed or won't get a game under Blackwell despite us desperately needing them- players like Reid, France, Sharp, Little, Cotterill, Fortune (possibly add yeates to this list next year if he carries on being dropped). If you're going to go with a smaller squad then as Blackwell rightly said last year you need to make sure you get quality over quantity. It's a shame a year later we don't seem to have taken this approach.

We have recently been told that Mccabe is no longer intending to put money into the club and believes now is the time for us to be self-sufficient. Our links to Sao Paulo fell through after one man died, our links to China are bringing nothing but expense and trouble which lowers our international brand value. We sent Robinson to Hungary which resulted in a banner stretching an entire stand telling the world of his alleged dealings with prostitutes and suggesting he go back home and we've seen no real positive benefit at this stage of this venture. Even given the injury problems we've had this year players like Abdi Liban and Sam Wedgebury aren't deemed of any worth. In addition to this we have lost Reid to our "sister club".

Interestingly I recently re-read comments made by KM after the playoff final:

"Our business model will enable us to invest not only at academy level, where we have seen young players like Kyle Walker and Kyle Naughton evolving and coming through to the first team, but to also remain competitive in the transfer market.
"We have exciting plans to further enhance our stadium and, most of all, the backing of our supporters who have renewed their season tickets at an unprecedented level."

One year on and we don't seem to have many of these things.

It is a hard life being a blade and it would be easy to let it get to you but if by the end of the season Leeds fail to get promotion, West Ham get relegated and so do the pigs I'd happily reflect on this season as one that wasn't wasted. Let's go out and hammer the dirty scum pigs on the 18th and we'll all feel happy again. :nana::beer:

I think this is what Jon Bon was meaning to when he said that the Blades management were treating season ticket holders like cnuts

More or less Highbury, but unfortunately I don't have the attention span or speed of type to go into that much detail, however, I think the kid has just about nailed it. :)
