I don't think we all realised how Dooley leaving would affect things.

The rights and wrongs of Warnock are a long tale and much covered on here but Dooley was always in the managers corner and McC would have had a big fight on his hands with Dooley to do what he has done.

I know it’s been said before but Dooley was a top guy.

I didn't know Dooley but considering he owned asbout zero % of the shares what on earth could he have done to stop McCabe using SUFC to support his property empire?

In the long run nothing but I'm sure McC would have been pissed off with Dooley knocking on his door [or phoning him in Belgium] all the time about how the team was suffering.

Dooley was a football man and would have fought our corner [the fans idea of what the club needs to do] much more than Birch ever will and Warnock wouldn't have stood for as much shit either.

Mr Warnock got us relegated from the PL by spunking his transfer budget on crap & being a long way short of the mark tactically. Basically, he got found out in the PL and wasn't up to it. That's when it started going downhill.

Not many promoted teams, who have the budget Warnock did, manage to stay up. I accept that Warnock spunked what he did have.
