Not your traditional footy song but there again neither is Annie’s Song....

Do you hear the Bladesmen sing?
Singing the songs of happy men?
It’s the fans of Sheff United
Who can dare to dream again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When United come!

Wish I could give a double like just for the Les Mis reference.

I can't wait to sing

The Blades are staying up
The Blades are staying up
And now you're gonna believe us
And now you're gonna believe us
Fuck you Garth Crooks and Danny Mills
The Blades are staying up

This would surely qualify for the poshest football chant ever.
Captain Blade runs to the penalty spot in front of the kop & sticks a flag in the ground - like Souness did - to signal the beginning & 30,000 Blades start singing it.....
Only ever happen in my mind’s eye.

Les Miss is the most horrendous two and a half hours I’ve ever spent in the cinema, Russel Crowe and the Wolverine bloke “singing” at each other for no apparent reason.

thanks for the flash backs 😡

Wonderful things happen at Christmas time, we need to get this echoing around BDTBL against Watford on Boxing Day.....

Think this would be absolutely brill (and unique to is until likely copied by many...) but then, I’m also a huge Les Mis fan. Kind of like a Jim ‘ll Fix it moment to play the role of Valjean 😊.

IYHO. In mine it's great I shall be singing it at the next game.

A song Wednesday used to sing about one of their idols with lyrics changed to talk about their manager - 60+ likes.
Unique new chant attempt based on a tune not sung anywhere else - 6 likes.
